Series 100 Gloss
A clear gloss choice designed for protection against road debris and everyday marks. Its self-healing surface can recover from minor scratches when heat is applied. It keeps the paint colour visible without a change to matte.
Protect the paint you want to keep
Give road-facing paint an extra layer against stone chips, everyday scuffs and stains. Wrapping.ae installs 3M paint protection film in Al Quoz 4, from selected contact areas to the full painted exterior, with the film, finish and coverage chosen around your car.
Clear gloss keeps your paint colour visible. A matte film changes how the same colour catches the light.

Film and fitting in one quote
For budget context, advertised Dubai PPF examples start at AED 4,950 for full front coverage and AED 13,500 for a full clear exterior, including 5% VAT. These are general market examples, not 3M prices or Wrapping.ae offers.
Your 3M installation is quoted for the chosen series, finish and panels. Vehicle size, complex bumpers, existing film removal and paint preparation affect the work, so two full-body quotes can cover quite different installations.
An advertised market starting point. Compare the named panels and any separate headlight coverage.
An advertised full-vehicle clear PPF starting point. Preparation and vehicle requirements affect the final quote.
A useful quote names the film, lists the covered panels and separates any preparation or removal work. Your final amount includes the applicable VAT.
Choose where the film earns its place
Think about the panels exposed on your usual journeys and the areas touched every day. The coverage plan below helps you describe the installation you want.
| Coverage choice | Panels to discuss | Why choose it? |
|---|---|---|
| Everyday contact areas | Door cups, door edges and a painted boot loading ledge. | A focused option for repeated contact from hands, bags and loading. A protected ledge is not the whole rear bumper. |
| Partial front | Front bumper, part of the bonnet and front wings, with suitable painted mirror caps. | Focuses film on selected road-facing areas. A partial bonnet leaves a visible film boundary across the paint. |
| Complete front | Full bonnet, both front wings, front bumper and suitable painted mirror caps. | Covers whole front panels and avoids a part-panel line on the bonnet. Lights and extra contact areas are separate choices. |
| Full painted exterior | Front panels plus doors, rear wings, rear bumper, boot and suitable painted roof areas. | Broader protection around the car and a consistent appearance for a matte transformation. Glass and textured trim require separate decisions. |
Lower sills and areas behind the wheels can be added where suitable. The agreed panel list defines your installation, including any exclusions.

Keep the colour, choose the reflection
A clear gloss film suits owners who like their paint as it is. It adds a protective surface while allowing the original colour and metallic detail to remain visible. Existing paint marks still need attention before transparent film goes over them.
Scotchgard Pro Series 200 Matte is transparent film that changes gloss paint to a more muted appearance. Full-panel planning matters because uncovered glossy areas will reflect differently. For factory matte paint, compare a suitable sample before choosing the final finish.
3M Protection Wrap Film Color Series combines a new colour with physical film protection. It is a separate product from 3M 2080 vinyl wrap. If changing the car's appearance is part of your plan, discuss the selected colour and which visible openings retain the original paint.
Know the film behind the finish
The current range includes several clear-film families. Compare their finish and surface features alongside the coverage you want.
A clear gloss choice designed for protection against road debris and everyday marks. Its self-healing surface can recover from minor scratches when heat is applied. It keeps the paint colour visible without a change to matte.
A gloss film with water and dirt repellence, stain resistance and minor-mark recovery. It is an option to consider when easier routine care and a clear, shiny finish are priorities.
The gloss version combines a smooth reflective surface with water-repellent features. Pro Series 200 Matte provides a softer appearance. Both offer a protective film with recovery of minor surface marks.
We confirm the available series and finish for your booking and name the selected film in your quote.

The finish starts below the film
A new film will not repair a stone chip or hide every scratch. We assess the paint, existing protection and previous repairs before agreeing on preparation and fitting.
Cleaning removes deposits and residues. Where appropriate, paint correction reduces light swirls before coverage. Existing ceramic coating must be addressed so the film can bond to the prepared paint. Repainted panels need the paint supplier's curing guidance.
The vehicle shape determines the pattern, access and edge treatment. We discuss where film can wrap around an edge and where a visible boundary or relief cut is needed. Badges, sensors and complex bumper sections affect that plan.
The fitted panels and edges are checked before handover. We explain the first wash, care of the chosen finish and anything to monitor as the installation settles. Preparation, coverage and bodywork complexity determine the collection estimate.
Protection still needs care
3M recommends waiting at least 72 hours after PPF installation before washing. After that, gentle hand washing helps avoid the abrasion of a brush wash. Follow the handover guidance for your chosen film and any additional treatment.
Self-healing concerns minor marks in the film surface. A deep cut, puncture or damaged paint beneath the film needs assessment. It will not disappear because the car has been left in the sun.
A water-repellent surface can make upkeep easier. It still needs washing and sensible care between visits.
Before you choose your installation
For broader film choices, our paint protection film service explains the main options. Here, the focus is the right 3M film and fitting plan for your car.
3M's UAE guidance lists ten-year manufacturer cover for eligible Pro Series 200 Gloss installations by a 3M Certified Installer. It covers specified defects including yellowing, bubbling and cracking, subject to the product terms. Stone-impact damage and ordinary wear are different. We explain the cover applicable to your selected installation, with manufacturer terms and any workmanship cover kept separate.
No film makes the bodywork damage-proof. PPF adds a physical layer that helps protect the paint from everyday contact and road debris. A severe impact can damage the film and the panel beneath it. Damaged film should be assessed for replacement.
Film can usually be removed and replaced on an individual panel. The existing film's condition, finish and availability affect the plan. Paint damage underneath needs its own assessment before fresh film is fitted.
Removal needs care, especially where paint has been repaired. The film's age and the paint's adhesion affect the result. Let us know about repaints before fitting or removal so their condition can be considered. A damage-free result cannot be promised for every paint surface.
No. PPF provides a physical film over the paint. Ceramic coating mainly changes surface behaviour and maintenance. A suitable coating may complement compatible PPF, but it does not replace the film's barrier against everyday contact.
