Vinyl for a new finish
Choose a full color change or a smaller roof and trim contrast. Cosmetic vinyl is not a dent-prevention product.
Vinyl styling and paint protection
A new color, a contrasting roof or protection for the paint you already like. Compare Nissan vinyl and PPF before choosing the work.
Start with your Nissan model and whether you want a color change or paint protection. We will help you choose coverage and arrange a quote at our Al Quoz workshop.

Use these vinyl ranges for initial budgeting. The quote sets the supplied film, fitting work, preparation, any removal charges and the final amount including VAT.
Start with the result you want
These are different purchases. Choose by what you want the film to do, then agree the exact coverage.
Choose a full color change or a smaller roof and trim contrast. Cosmetic vinyl is not a dent-prevention product.
Discuss a named paint protection film for the areas that matter to you. Impacts can still exceed the film’s protection.
Want color and protection together? Ask about a suitable colored PPF or compatible film system. Availability and compatibility need checking for the actual products.
Discuss your NissanUseful price guidance starts with coverage
These are our published color-vinyl category planning ranges. They provide a starting point for the quotation and do not price PPF. The final amount depends on the panel list, film, paint condition and access work.
| Work | Guide in AED | Scope to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| One painted roof, hood or trunk | 1,200 to 2,000 | One named panel. Confirm roof rails, antenna access, glass openings and old-film removal. |
| Full sedan exterior | 8,000 to 15,000 | A category guide for cars such as the Altima or Sunny. List the roof, bumpers, mirrors and any excluded panels. |
| Full SUV or 4x4 exterior | 15,000 to 25,000 | A category guide for vehicles such as the Patrol or X-Trail. Assess the actual generation, size and trim. |
| GT-R, Z or modified bodywork | Individual quote | Bumper recesses, spoilers, skirts and aftermarket parts require a car-specific fitting plan. |
| Partial vinyl, front PPF or full PPF | Individual quote | State the material and each covered panel. A front-protection package is not a full color-change package. |
The current wrapping price guide is the basis for these ranges. Confirm VAT treatment, preparation, existing-film removal and any repair charges separately. Compare the final VAT-inclusive total for the same work.
Use the written total. Ask whether a current offer applies to your selected product and panels, and have its eligibility and final price recorded. No percentage discount is assumed in the guide prices on this page.
Protection starts with a panel list
Start with the panels exposed on your usual routes. A front package targets common forward-facing areas; full-body PPF extends coverage to agreed side and rear panels. Neither name guarantees that every surface, edge or accessory is included.
| Option | Panels to name | Important boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Partial front | Front bumper and the selected portions of the hood and front fenders. | Confirm where the film stops across a panel. Do not assume mirrors or lights are part of the work. |
| Full front | Front bumper, complete hood, complete front fenders and mirror caps if selected. | Roof leading edge, pillars, lights and lower rocker areas need an explicit decision. |
| Full body | The agreed front, doors, rear quarters, rear bumper, tailgate or trunk and roof. | List exclusions for glass, textured trim, openings, badges and accessories. Door jambs and deep returns are separate. |
These are comparison descriptions, not preset stock packages. Price follows the exact film, finish and panel list. For a Patrol with accessories or a GT-R with an aftermarket bumper, review those parts individually. Cosmetic vinyl prices above do not establish the cost of PPF.
Clear gloss PPF keeps the paint color visible; a suitable matte film changes its sheen. If you want color as well as protection, compare a named colored protection film with the alternative of a vinyl color change. Do not assume that adding a layer over another film is compatible or covered by either warranty.
The examples below apply our category guides to two different requests. Both are typical estimates, not records of completed Nissan jobs. They do not establish a stocked film, VAT basis or final installed price.
For a Patrol with stable painted panels, a full exterior vinyl plan can coordinate the body, bumpers and selected mirror caps. Roof accessories and contrasting trim need a separate coverage decision.
AED 15,000 to 25,000 guideThis SUV range is for color vinyl. It is not a full-body PPF price or an assurance against off-road damage. The written total should explain preparation, fitting access, existing-film removal and VAT.
A painted roof in sound condition can be assessed for a single contrasting vinyl panel. Check the actual sunroof, antenna and edge arrangement instead of assuming every trim has the same roof.
AED 1,200 to 2,000 guideThe example leaves the remaining body color unchanged. Adding pillars, mirrors or the hood creates more work. Agree the film code and the final covered area before comparing this with another quotation.
Body size explains only part of a wrap quote. A large Patrol and a compact Z create different fitting challenges. Your generation, fitted trim and any body changes determine the final panel plan.
Large painted areas and roof access affect material use and fitting. Check the actual bumpers, rails, wheel-arch trim and accessories on your generation. A vinyl finish will not stop parking dents or off-road impact damage.
Complex bumper shapes, spoilers, side skirts and aftermarket aero can change access, joins and labor. Share photos of modifications and discuss whether each part is suitable for the chosen film.
Separate painted bodywork from textured cladding and roof glass. Confirm contrasting pillars, mirror caps and any rails so the design has clear boundaries.
Compare the full sedan guide with a single roof or hood change. Badges, chrome details, bumper condition and previous paint repairs can alter the final scope.
Tell us about resprays, peeling clear coat and past repairs. Weak paint can affect both adhesion and removal. Film is not a substitute for correcting an unstable surface.

Bring two or three finish ideas, then compare physical samples beside your Nissan. Phone images and screen settings are not reliable color standards. A two-tone design also needs to work against the original paint visible at openings.
Compare reflections in sun and shade. Confirm the exact film code, especially when an accent needs to coordinate with existing paint.
Lower sheen changes how the body contours read. Choose compatible care products because polishing can alter the finish.
A dark painted roof can change the overall appearance without a complete body wrap. Glass, seals and roof hardware remain separate considerations.
Artwork, proof approval and panel placement add steps beyond a stock color film. Request a separate scope for commercial branding or custom graphics.
For a full Nissan color change, plan for several workshop days rather than a short accent appointment. The collection date depends on preparation, fitting and the selected material’s adhesion requirements. A smaller roof or trim request needs its own schedule, especially when old film or difficult access adds work.
Review paint condition, clean the surfaces and complete agreed removal or preparation. Repaired or poorly bonded paint may need a different plan.
Fit the agreed panels, finish corners and returns, and apply the manufacturer’s installation procedure. Disassembly is limited to the access work agreed for your vehicle.
Allow the required adhesion time and check the finished work before handover. For general context, 3M describes about a day of full-wrap fitting followed by another day for adhesion. This is not a guaranteed Nissan appointment duration.
Keep clear records of the product and the work
Vinyl and PPF are different products with different cover. A Nissan quote should identify the manufacturer and series for each installed film, then separate material warranty from the workshop’s installation support.
For vinyl, keep the color code and series. For PPF, retain the exact film name and finish. Check which defects are covered and whether the remedy includes replacement film, labor or both.
Regional termsUse the UAE-applicable document and the exposure terms for the actual covered panels.
Get the period and process for reporting a lifting edge, concern at a recess or other installation issue. Product cover should not be mistaken for a promise that every future fitting or removal charge is included.
Installation supportRecord its duration, contact and any inspection or return requirements separately.
Clarify impact damage, unsuitable cleaners, modified panels and pre-existing paint defects. PPF does not make a Patrol dent-proof, and a removable vinyl cannot guarantee that weak repaint will remain intact.
After a problemTake clear photos and contact the workshop before trying glue, heat or abrasive cleaning.
Wrapping.ae lists 3M among its vinyl options. Series 2080 is one appearance-wrap range to compare, subject to the supplied color and local terms. No single warranty duration is stated here for all Nissan vinyl or PPF work. Keep the signed coverage list and applicable product document with the invoice.
Film cannot straighten a dent or stabilize peeling paint. An older Nissan, a recently repaired bumper and a fresh original panel may need different preparation even when all three look similar in a photo.
If the concern is a dent, cracked paint or loose clear coat, address the surface first. A smooth finish can make uneven areas more apparent. PPF also follows the underlying shape and is not a replacement for body repair.
Discuss known resprays and aftermarket parts. Adhesion depends on the coating and substrate, while deep recesses may require an agreed join. Removal can pull weak paint; no blanket promise of returning every panel undamaged is appropriate.
Assess removal before ordering a new finish. Brittle film and adhesive residue can add labor, and hidden paint issues may only appear afterward. Any repair or extra preparation should be agreed before the new installation continues.

Inspect the car with the installer in good light and compare the result with the approved panel list. This is the time to discuss any planned seam or uncovered return.
For later damage, contact the workshop before applying glue, heat or an aggressive cleaner. A section may be replaceable, although new film can look different from weathered material.
Follow the time and method supplied for the installed product. Avoid concentrated pressure jets directed at edges.
Use a gentle compatible cleaner. Remove contamination promptly without abrasive scrubbing or incompatible solvents.
Covered parking or shade can reduce exposure. Ask how roof and hood orientation affects the chosen film’s care and warranty.
Have aged or damaged film assessed before removal. Repainted or weak surfaces can suffer paint pull even when a film is described as removable.
No. Cosmetic vinyl is not a dent-prevention product. PPF is designed for a different level of surface and chip protection, but it also cannot guarantee protection from dents or impacts.
The quotation should name every panel and whether the hood and fenders receive full or partial coverage. Do not assume mirrors, lights, pillars or the roof are included in a package called front protection.
It needs inspection first. The shape, surface material, paint quality and mounting can change suitability, joins and access. Send clear photos of the parts before agreeing a price.
Separate areas can have different purposes, but the products and covered panels must be specified. If any PPF would sit over vinyl, the installer must check compatibility and warranty conditions for that exact combination. Do not assume that any two films can be layered successfully.
For cosmetic vinyl, the published category guides are AED 1,200 to 2,000 for a painted panel, AED 8,000 to 15,000 for a full sedan and AED 15,000 to 25,000 for a full SUV. GT-R, Z, modified cars and PPF are individually quoted. These ranges do not assume a discount. Compare the final VAT-inclusive price for the same film, preparation and coverage.
They should not be given the same default estimate. A full exterior needs more fitting and checking, while both jobs need the product’s required adhesion time. Confirm collection after the vehicle and material are reviewed.
The duration depends on the actual product and locally applicable terms. Get the film warranty and installation-support period separately in writing, including exclusions and the claims contact, before approving the work.
Not necessarily. Exterior coverage and deep door-jamb coverage are different scopes. Decide which returns are included, where the original paint can remain visible and whether the extra access work is worthwhile for your Nissan.
