How much of your car would you like to protect?

Start with the areas you want protected. Each option below names the painted panels included, so you can compare like for like.

Selected panels

Selected panels

A practical choice for a particular problem area, such as a bumper, mirror caps or a loading edge. It also suits a replacement panel when the rest of the film can stay in place.

  • One or more agreed painted panels
  • Options such as a bumper or mirror caps
  • Door edges and loading areas by request

A partial bonnet leaves a film edge across the panel. Complete bonnet coverage carries the film to the panel perimeter. State which you prefer when requesting a quote.

Full front

Full front

Concentrate coverage on the forward-facing panels. Choose this when bonnet and bumper chips are your main concern and you want to retain the car’s existing appearance.

  • Complete bonnet and front bumper
  • Both front wings or fenders
  • Painted exterior mirror caps

Doors and rear panels remain outside this package. Headlights, lower bumper details and edge wrapping depend on the vehicle and are listed separately.

Full exterior

Full exterior

Extend protection to the doors and rear bodywork as well as the front. This also gives you a more consistent appearance when changing the exterior to a matte or coloured finish.

  • Full front plus doors and rear wings
  • Painted roof, boot and rear bumper
  • Sills and other painted details as agreed

Glass, wheels, cabin surfaces and unpainted trim are separate from painted body panels. A full exterior quote should identify any areas that cannot be covered.

Select a package to add it to your enquiry. The vehicle inspection settles the final panel list and edge treatment.

A price for your car

What determines your KDX PPF installation price?

KDX PPF is quoted for your vehicle and the panels being covered. A bumper with deep recesses takes different fitting work from a broad, flat panel. Film choice, old-film removal and paint condition also affect the total.

Send your make, model and year with the coverage you want. Include photographs of existing damage or previous repairs. We can then discuss the suitable film and preparation before you book.

Separate film fitting from paint repairs

PPF does not fill stone chips or repair peeling clear coat. Existing damage, adhesive removal and any paint correction need their own allowance. This keeps the film installation price clear.

Choose the KDX finish
that suits your paint

Clear film keeps the original colour visible. Matte film changes the sheen, while coloured PPF changes the exterior colour as well as adding a protective film layer.

Deep green coupe showing a glossy body finish

Clear gloss

Clear gloss suits owners who like their current paint colour and shine. Ultra Clear and Ultra Clear Pro are clear options in the regional KDX catalogue. A physical sample helps you judge surface texture and reflections beside your paint.

Champagne silver coupe showing a satin body finish

Matte or satin

Matte film softens reflections. On a car with factory matte paint, the match matters as much as the protection. Covering only the front of a glossy car with matte film creates a visible change in sheen between panels.

A colour of your own

Coloured PPF combines a colour change with a protective film layer. Choose from the actual material sample, including its gloss or matte finish. Replacement film may differ in appearance as the original installation ages.

Compare the KDX catalogue options

The regional catalogue uses several product names. These distinctions help you understand a quotation without treating every KDX film as the same material.

View the regional catalogue

These are catalogue options, not a live stock list. The quotation identifies the available series, its product sheet and the terms that apply to the supplied film.

Ultra Clear and Ultra Clear Pro

Regional sheets identify LUMI-H Premium and LUMI-H Supreme as clear TPU films with heat-healing layers. Compare the exact product sheets rather than assuming the Pro name gives every specification a higher value.

Ultra Clear 10

LUMI-H Premium 100 is described as an extra-thick TPU film with a heat-healing layer. It is a separate product choice from standard Ultra Clear. Thickness alone does not describe the finished appearance or guarantee protection from every impact.

LUMI S

The LUMI-S Premium sheet describes a self-healing surface. This concerns fine marks in the film top layer. It does not repair scratches in the paint beneath it.

Matte

LUMI-M Premium combines a matte appearance with a heat-healing top layer. A sample comparison is especially useful beside factory matte paint or panels that will remain uncovered.

A physical protective layer

TPU means thermoplastic polyurethane. It forms the flexible body of the film, while the adhesive holds it to the prepared surface and the top layer provides the finish. The selected product determines the properties of each layer.

Recovery of fine surface marks

Heat-healing and self-healing describe the surface behaviour of particular films. Fine wash marks may recover under the product’s specified conditions. Deep cuts, punctures and dents need a separate assessment.

A finish you can maintain

A hydrophobic topcoat encourages water to bead and can make washing easier. Dirt still needs to be removed safely. Wiping dusty paint or film with a dry cloth can introduce fresh surface marks.

PPF helps reduce stone chips and light abrasion on covered panels. Severe impacts can damage both the film and the paint underneath.

A good finish starts underneath

Prepare the paint before fitting the film

Clear PPF shows the surface beneath it, so preparation starts with the paint’s condition. Swirls, chips and previous repairs need different treatment. A new car may need cleaning and decontamination without extensive polishing.

New or well-kept paint

The paint is assessed in suitable light for contamination and surface marks. Cleaning removes material that could become trapped beneath the film. Polishing should address an identified defect, not be added automatically to every new car.

Swirls, chips or existing repairs

Fine swirls may benefit from paint correction before clear film is fitted. A chip that has removed paint needs a different repair. The preparation discussion should make clear which marks will remain visible.

Repainted panels or existing film

Previous paintwork needs to be fully cured and suitable for adhesive film. Existing ceramic coating, old PPF and adhesive residue can affect preparation. Tell us what has been applied and when, especially if a panel has recently been repainted.

How your installation comes together

  • Inspect

    Agree the car’s starting condition

The inspection identifies paint defects, previous repairs and existing coatings. The installation plan names the KDX series, panels and any preparation needed, so you know what the work includes before fitting starts.

  • Prepare

Clean and ready each selected panel

The selected panels, edges and recesses are cleaned and prepared. Any agreed correction or old-film removal comes first. Material trapped beneath clear film can remain visible after fitting.

  • Fit

Position the film around the bodywork

The film is positioned and worked around the panel shape. Pre-cut patterns and custom fitting suit different areas. Recesses, panel access and trim can limit where edges are tucked or require a join.

  • Review

Inspect the result and explain care

At collection, review the covered panels and accessible edges with the installer. The product’s care instructions explain washing and settling requirements. Photograph an edge or mark if you need advice after taking the car home.

How long should you plan for?

A selected-panel job needs less fitting work than the full exterior. Old film, paint repairs and complex bodywork add stages before collection. Your booking needs an installation and collection window based on those details, including any settling or follow-up checks specified for the film.

What happens after installation

Understand the warranty behind your chosen film

Product warranty addresses eligible film defects under the issuer’s terms. Workmanship support concerns the installation. Keep these separate when comparing an offer, because a product warranty does not automatically include removal and refitting labour.

Keep the details for aftercare

  • Film and installation detailsThe exact series, invoice and installation date help identify the fitted product. Retain roll or batch details and warranty registration where supplied.
  • Product coverThe selected warranty sets out which film defects qualify, the term and exclusions. Collision damage and deterioration of the paint underneath are different from a manufacturing defect in the film.
  • Help with an installation issueContact Wrapping.ae with photographs and your installation details if you notice lifting, persistent haze or a damaged area. An inspection helps distinguish a fitting issue from film damage or a paint problem.
  • Removal and replacement costsThe applicable terms determine whether replacement film, removal and fitting labour are included. A warranty duration alone does not answer that question.

The regional distributor has a KDX warranty registration process. Eligibility and terms must match the actual product and supply route for your installation.

Keep the film looking its best

Follow the written care instructions for the fitted KDX series. Confirm the first-wash date at handover instead of relying on a generic waiting period.

Wash with the finish in mind

Wash gently with a shampoo suitable for your film and finish. Remove bird droppings and other contamination promptly. Avoid abrasive polishing or strong chemicals unless the product instructions allow them.

Pay attention to edges and marks

Keep pressure-washer spray away from film edges and follow the installer’s distance guidance. If you notice lifting, persistent haze or damage, send photographs before trying to repair it yourself.

Review a damaged panel separately

Damage to one panel does not necessarily mean replacing the whole installation. The panel is checked first, then the replacement film is matched to the original series and finish. Availability and differences in ageing can affect that match.

How much does KDX PPF cost in Dubai?

KDX PPF is priced for the selected film, vehicle and covered panels. Complex bumpers, old-film removal and paint preparation can change the total. Send your make, model, year and preferred coverage for a written quotation that includes the installation and VAT.

Which KDX PPF series will be installed?

The exact series is selected with your quotation and availability check. Ultra Clear, Ultra Clear Pro, Ultra Clear 10, LUMI S and Matte are different regional catalogue options. The supplied product name and its documentation should match the quotation.

Does a full front package include the whole bonnet?

Yes. The full front option described here includes the complete bonnet, both front wings, the front bumper and painted mirror caps. A partial bonnet is a different option. Headlights and additional areas are listed separately for your vehicle.

Will KDX PPF repair existing paint scratches?

No. Self-healing refers to fine marks on the surface of a suitable film. Existing paint scratches, chips, dents and failed clear coat need assessment before the film is fitted.

Can PPF be fitted to repainted panels?

It may be possible after the paint and its curing requirements have been checked. Tell the installer about previous body repairs and repainting. The condition of the underlying paint also affects future removal risk.

Is every KDX film covered for ten years?

No. The term and coverage depend on the specific product and applicable warranty. Film defects, fitting support and physical damage are different matters. Keep the written terms for your installation rather than relying on a brand-wide warranty claim.

Can just one damaged section be replaced?

Often a single panel or section can be replaced after the underlying surface is checked. The replacement needs to suit the original film and finish. Differences in ageing, product availability or damage beneath the film can affect the work.

Does body PPF include the windscreen or headlights?

Not automatically. Glass and lights have different requirements and are outside the body-panel scope unless specifically assessed and listed. Do not assume the same material is suitable for every surface.

Will clear KDX PPF change my paint colour?

Clear film leaves the existing paint colour visible, although the surface sheen and reflections can change. Matte film creates a softer appearance. A sample beside your paint is useful before choosing full or partial coverage.

Can I apply ceramic coating over KDX PPF?

A coating can be used over some PPF products to help with cleaning and water repellency. It must be compatible with the exact film and finish. The film manufacturer’s care instructions take priority, especially for matte surfaces.
