Keep sound paint and repair the dent

Paintless Dent Removal In Dubai

Get a parking ding, a shallow panel dent or suitable hail damage repaired without repainting the affected area. At Wrapping.ae in Al Quoz 4, we assess the paint and panel, then use paintless dent removal to restore the contour where the damage allows it.

Repair costs

Paintless dent removal prices in Dubai

A single dent and a car with hail damage need different budgets. These advertised Dubai market examples show the repair scope behind the number.

One small dent

including VAT for an advertised 1 cm dent example. That example excludes aluminium panels and body edges. It is not a rate per centimetre.

AED 210

One medium dent

including VAT for a single dent described as palm-sized. Its depth, location and access still affect the final cost.

From AED 400

One larger dent

including VAT for one dent described as fist-sized or larger, subject to assessment. A broad shallow dent and a sharp impact can require different work.

From AED 600

A crease

including VAT for a line-shaped dent. The length and sharpness of the crease matter, along with any damage to a body line.

From AED 500

Several small dents

including VAT for a group of 3 to 5 small dents. The affected panels and access work need to be included in the repair scope.

From AED 600

Hail damage across the car

including VAT for an advertised full-car hail repair starting point. The total follows an assessment of the damaged panels and is not a fixed price for any number of dents.

From AED 2,000

These are market examples, not Wrapping.ae package prices. Our quote identifies the dents included, any access work and the expected finish. A paintless repair and a job that also needs paintwork are priced as different scopes.

Choose your repair scope

Book for one dent or a group of damaged panels

Start with the damage you want repaired. These are repair choices to discuss with the team, with the method and cost agreed after assessment.

A single door ding

Choose a focused assessment for an isolated parking dent on a door, wing or other metal panel. The repair plan identifies that dent and checks the paint around it before access is arranged.

Where the original finish is sound, keeping it avoids repainting an otherwise well-presented panel. This is useful when the main concern is one visible depression rather than a wider area of damaged paint. Point out any accompanying scratch so it can be considered separately.

A crease or body-line dent

Choose a closer contour assessment when the impact has left a narrow line, displaced a body crease or reached an edge. The team needs to assess the whole shape, including the raised metal beside the low area.

The aim is to recover the panel's intended contour while retaining its finish where possible. Before booking the work, we discuss whether a complete paintless repair is realistic, whether only an improvement can be achieved, or whether refinishing is the better option.

Several dents or hail damage

Choose a combined assessment when there are several parking marks or dents across the bonnet, roof and other panels. Identify all the areas you want included so the estimate covers the complete job.

Planning the work together allows access and repair time to be considered across the vehicle. It also separates panels that can retain their existing paint from areas that need additional finishing. The agreed scope can cover selected dents or the assessed damage across the car.

The PDR quotation covers the agreed dent repair and access work. That means accounting for the assessment, metal reshaping, any necessary trim removal and refitting, and the final contour check. A directly accessible door ding and a dent behind a support can involve different labour even when they look similar from outside.

The included dents are identified before work starts. If there is old damage nearby that you are leaving untreated, it stays separate from the result being agreed.

Additional finishing is specified separately. Paint correction, touch-up, refinishing and replacement of a damaged wrap or PPF are separate operations when needed. They should be identified in the quote alongside the metalwork, rather than hidden inside a promise to remove the dent.

This gives you a practical comparison between repair options. A paintless quote for one dent and a bodywork quote that also repairs scratches are covering different work, even if both refer to the same door.

Door dings and panel dents

Repair the damage while keeping the existing finish

A door opening into your car can leave a dent with little visible damage to the paint. If that finish remains sound, PDR may reshape the metal without adding filler or a new colour coat. You keep the existing paint in the repaired area and avoid the colour-matching work that comes with refinishing.

We inspect the dent and the surrounding reflection before choosing the method. A broad depression can include raised areas around its edge, so the repair involves more than pushing out the lowest point. Reflection lighting helps reveal those changes as the contour is worked.

Dents on body lines and wheel arches

A dent crossing a body line interrupts a deliberate feature of the panel. Repairing it means recovering that line as well as the surface beside it. A sharply creased impact or a dent near a folded edge may have a more limited result than a shallow mark on an open panel.

The assessment establishes whether a paintless finish is achievable or whether the repair needs another approach. A large-looking dent is not automatically a repainting job, and a tiny mark is not automatically an easy PDR repair.

Several dents or hail damage

Plan the repair across the affected panels

Several parking dents can be dealt with in one repair plan. For hail damage, the assessment extends across the bonnet, roof and any other affected panels. The useful question is which areas can be restored while retaining their paint and which need additional work.

A few shallow bonnet dents and a concentrated pattern across the roof are different jobs. Closely spaced impacts can affect the contour together, while supports beneath the panel change access from one area to another. The estimate accounts for that distribution rather than multiplying a small-dent price by the visible count.

A combined repair when the damage varies

One panel may suit PDR while another has cracked paint or more severe deformation. We can discuss those areas separately so the plan addresses each panel's condition. Any refinishing is identified alongside the paintless work, with the collection schedule based on the complete job.

Bring attention to damage on the roof as well as the panels at eye level. Shallow dents can be difficult to see in flat light, and an inspection gives a more complete picture than a few close-up photographs.

Panel material and access

Choose the method for the actual panel

Steel and aluminium can both be candidates for PDR. They respond differently to shaping, and the vehicle's repair guidance can place different limits on individual panels. The car's badge alone does not tell us the material or construction of the damaged part.

Access matters just as much. A door can have reinforcement, wiring and a window mechanism behind its outer skin. A bonnet has an inner structure, while roof work may involve interior trim. These details affect tool access and the time needed to complete the repair.

Working from behind or pulling from outside

Controlled work from behind the panel can reshape a suitable dent. Where an appropriate glue-pulling method is considered, the paint bond matters because the pulling force passes through the finish. Repainted or weakened paint requires particular care.

Removing and refitting an appropriate trim piece can provide access, but the repair must respect the panel's construction. A new drilled hole is not a routine substitute for suitable access. Any disturbed protection on the reverse of the panel also needs attention under the applicable repair guidance.

Plastic bumper damage is a different repair. Likewise, a collision that has changed panel gaps, door operation or the structure needs a wider bodywork assessment than PDR alone.

Choosing the repair

When the dent also needs paintwork

PDR repairs the shape of the metal. It cannot replace missing paint or remove the scratch beside a dent. The condition of both determines the repair plan.

What you can seeRepair to consider
A dent with sound paintPDR may restore the contour while keeping the existing finish. Shape, access and the panel's repair limits determine suitability.
A dent and a surface scratchAssess the dent and scratch separately. A light paint mark may need a different finish treatment from a scratch through the colour coat.
Cracked paint or previous fillerMetalwork may need to be followed by paint repair. Earlier repairs can affect both the method and the expected result.

Where refinishing is needed, discuss our car painting service alongside the dent repair. The quote should cover the finish you need, rather than leave a reshaped panel with unresolved paint damage.

For a difficult crease, we explain any assessed limit before work begins. Sometimes a paintless improvement is possible without recovering every contour. That outcome needs to be agreed rather than presented as a complete restoration.

Completion and collection

Check the contour and the finished repair

The repaired area is checked through its reflections from different angles. The review includes the surrounding shape, paint condition and any parts moved for access. At handover, we explain the result and any remaining marks agreed as part of the repair.

A single accessible ding and multi-panel hail damage require different schedules. We agree the timing around the access and repair work, including any separately quoted paintwork. Pure PDR introduces no new paint layer that needs curing.

After the repair

Follow the handover advice for the work actually completed. Any additional paint repair or coating has its own care requirements. Raise a remaining concern about the contour or finish at collection so it can be reviewed with the car present.

Where trim was removed for access, its refitting belongs in that review too. The aim is to hand back the completed panel repair, including the parts disturbed to reach it.

Before your visit

Practical questions about booking PDR

A few details about the vehicle and any work already carried out help us prepare for the assessment.

Can you quote from photographs?

Photos help us discuss the likely repair and an initial budget. A wider view establishes the panel and location, while angled close-ups show the contour more clearly than one straight-on picture. Include the car model and year, and mention any repainting.

A photograph cannot establish every fine paint crack or the access behind the metal. The final inspection may therefore change the proposed method or cost. We agree the scope before starting the repair.

Can you repair a dent beneath a wrap or PPF?

Tell us about the covering when you enquire. Film can make it harder to assess the underlying paint and can affect which repair method is suitable. A dent beneath film needs an individual inspection rather than an assumption that the covering can remain untouched.

If film removal or replacement is needed, it is identified separately. We also need to consider the underlying finish, especially where a panel has been repainted.

Should I remove trim or try to push the dent out first?

Leave the panel and trim in place for the assessment. You do not need to dismantle a door or press on the metal to show us the dent. Attempting to reshape it first can change the contour or affect the paint.

If someone has already tried a repair, explain what was done. Knowing about earlier pulling, repainting or filler helps the team assess the condition now and choose an appropriate next step.
