Smooth sound paint
Suitable painted doors, hood, fenders and body sides can be assessed for color film. Inspect chips and repaired areas first so the finish does not simply cover defects.

Compare the same panels
The figures below are our published category guides. A roof accent and a full color change involve different coverage, preparation and fitting. Compare the actual film and panel list.
| Work to compare | AED guide | Coverage to agree |
|---|---|---|
| Full exterior vinyl wrap | AED 15,000–25,000SUV and 4×4 category guide | List the suitable painted outer panels, finish and edge returns. A Gladiator bed, hardtop, modified bumpers and accessories need explicit coverage decisions. |
| One painted accent panel | AED 1,200–2,000Single panel category guide | Identify the hood or another suitable painted panel. A multi-piece roof is not automatically one panel, and textured hardtops need a separate assessment. |
| Racing stripes | AED 1,800–2,500Racing stripe category guide | Agree the stripe dimensions and panels. A printed camouflage or character design requires a separate artwork, printing and fitting quote. |
| Selected or full PPF | Individual quoteProtective film priced separately | Name the product and every protected panel. PPF, color vinyl and a truck-bed coating are different services. |
These vinyl ranges are budget guides, not fixed packages. VAT treatment is confirmed in your written quotation. Paint repairs, old-film removal and accessory work are priced separately when needed. Approve the complete payable total before fitting.
Painted bodywork is only part of a Jeep
The same Jeep can have smooth paint, rough trim, rubber seals and a fabric roof. A film designed for automotive paint should not be assumed suitable for all of them.

Suitable painted doors, hood, fenders and body sides can be assessed for color film. Inspect chips and repaired areas first so the finish does not simply cover defects.
Rough flares, unpainted handles and a textured black hardtop need their own product and adhesion assessment. They are excluded unless the written quote specifically accepts them.
A soft top, weather seals, hinges and contact points are not ordinary wrap panels. Keep drainage, latches and moving clearances working as intended.
Powder-coated bumpers, rock rails, racks and bed liners are separate substrates. Do not treat a cosmetic body film as an abrasion-resistant load-bed coating.
See how a panel list changes the job
These illustrative cost estimates apply the SUV vinyl guide to two different coverage choices. They are not completed customer jobs or fixed model packages. The actual roof, bed and accessory work determines the fitted quote and VAT treatment.
Illustrative cost estimate
Selected 3M color vinyl on sound outer painted panels, retaining a contrasting hardtop and black textured trim.
Keep the hardtop, textured flares, bumpers, spare tire carrier and door jambs outside this example unless added to the quote. Confirm treatment around exposed hinges and factory decals.
Illustrative cost estimate
Selected color-change vinyl on suitable cab and exterior bed panels. The aim is a coordinated body color while leaving cargo surfaces ready for use.
Bed liner, inner cargo floor, rail caps, tonneau cover, tie-downs and rock rails are not included. A rack or canopy can restrict access and change removal and refitting work.
Keep the open-air features usable
Tell us how you use the removable parts. An edge that is hidden with the roof installed may be visible when it is stored or when the doors are removed.
Confirm the model year, two or four doors, hardtop or soft top and any power-roof system. Jeep roof and door options differ by generation and market.
Removal and refitting are separate work when needed for access. The fitting plan should identify who handles each component, how it is stored and any additional charge. Exposed paint around seals, hinge areas and inner returns can remain visible when doors or roof panels are removed.
Review latches, seals, door operation and any roof movement affected by the work. Film must not bridge separate panels or interfere with drains and contact surfaces.
Choose the material around the exposure
A trail-ready vehicle can still suffer paint and film damage. Choose the material for the job rather than expecting every product called a wrap to provide the same protection.
Choose color vinyl for a new body color or sheen. 3M 2080 is a color-change film series. Printed camouflage and custom artwork use a separate printable film and compatible laminate, with artwork and production priced separately.
Choose this when appearance is the main goal.
Use a specified PPF product to help reduce stone-chip and surface damage on selected painted panels. Product performance and impact severity matter.
Choose this when protecting existing paint is the main goal.
For road use, compare front bumper, hood, front fender and mirror coverage. Lower painted doors and rear fender areas can be assessed separately where exposure is a concern. Coverage ends at the named panels, so protecting the front does not protect the sides from branches. Compare our PPF coverage options. Neither film replaces body repairs or physical protection equipment.
Choose a look you can maintain
Wrapping.ae offers 3M vinyl wrapping. Choose the appearance first, then compare an available physical sample with your hardtop, flares and bumpers in daylight. The supplied series and color code identify your selection. A manufacturer catalog does not establish local stock.

A stronger reflection creates a paint-like look. Compare it beside gloss accessories and the existing roof rather than selecting from a phone screen alone.
Lower sheen changes the appearance of the flat doors and hood. Compatible washing products matter because abrasive polishing can change the finish.
A printable film and its laminate form a separate system from solid-color vinyl. The design must work across door gaps, hinges and removable sections. Keep important artwork away from interrupted areas. Artwork rights and any applicable advertising requirements also need to be addressed.
A hood stripe or selected painted panel can be enough. A narrow stripe changes the appearance with less coverage than a complete hood wrap. Factory decals, raised lettering and recesses affect the layout. Choose the start and stop points beside untouched original paint.
Protect the paint underneath
Original paint, a sound repair and a weak respray can respond differently to adhesive film. Tell us about past bodywork before the material is chosen.
Record chips, lifting clear coat, corrosion and previous repairs. A wrap follows the surface underneath and cannot stabilize failing paint. Agree any repair or curing requirement first.
Inspect edges and exposed upper panels as the film ages. Have lifting, cracking or damaged sections assessed before dirt and weather make the problem harder to manage.
Film age, heat exposure, adhesive and paint adhesion affect removal. Repainted or deteriorated panels may be vulnerable. Arrange professional assessment rather than a blanket no-damage assurance.
Know when you can collect the Jeep
A full color change needs a multi-day planning allowance. Material ordering happens before the workshop visit and is separate from fitting time. A single-panel job, old-film removal or accessory work receives its own schedule. The booking confirms arrival and collection dates.
Cleaning removes contamination from the areas being wrapped. Any old film, failing paint or required repair needs attention first. Time for paint curing or material ordering can affect the start date even when the fitting itself is straightforward.
Recesses and complex corners may need a planned join or separate inlay. The selected material determines application and finishing conditions. A clean, considered join can be more appropriate than stretching one sheet beyond its intended use.
Review the finished edges and any refitted components at collection. Keep the film identity, invoice and care instructions together. First-wash timing depends on the material and fitting conditions, so the handover instructions take priority over a generic online waiting period.
For a registered color change, confirm the current police approval and vehicle-registration steps with the relevant authority before fitting. Check any lease, finance or insurance conditions as well.
Care after road and trail use
Care and warranty answer different questions. The cleaning routine protects the finish you selected. The written product and installation terms explain what happens if a fault needs assessment.
Rinse loose dust and grit before using a wash mitt. Use film-compatible products and avoid directing concentrated water pressure at seams or lifted edges. Let hot panels cool before cleaning and follow the supplied first-wash instructions.
A matte or satin finish can become uneven if it is polished abrasively. Use only cleaners and coatings suitable for the fitted film. Remove contamination promptly with the product-approved method rather than scrubbing one area harder.
If an edge lifts or trail damage cuts the material, send a clear photo for assessment. Avoid solvents, household glue or pulling at the film. A replacement section may look different from surrounding material that has aged outdoors.
The manufacturer policy applies to the named film and eligible installation. Coverage can differ between upright doors and exposed roof or hood panels. The applicable UAE term, covered defects and remedy need to accompany the supplied product. A catalog maximum is not a promise for every panel.
Workshop fitting support is separate from product coverage. Its period and remedy belong in the written quotation. For a concern, keep the invoice and film details and contact us with the affected panel and a photo. Impact damage, vandalism and improper care are separate from a material or fitting defect.
Useful answers before booking
Compare cost, coverage and care before choosing the work. Your Jeep model and the finish you want are enough to start.
Our published vinyl guides are AED 15,000–25,000 for the SUV and 4×4 category and AED 1,200–2,000 for one suitable painted panel. These are not fixed Wrangler or Gladiator packages. Confirm roof coverage, accessories, preparation, removal and the final VAT-inclusive total in your quote.
Do not assume it is suitable for standard automotive color film. Its finish needs a separate product and adhesion assessment. It stays outside the agreed coverage unless specifically accepted in writing.
Only the areas named on the quote are included. Exposed hinges, inner door edges and complete jambs need their own fitting and movement decisions.
It is a planning guide, not a fixed Gladiator offer. The exterior bed sides, tailgate, roof and access around racks can change the work. Inner cargo surfaces and bed liners are separate from a cosmetic body wrap.
Allow a few days as an initial plan for a full color change. Material ordering and any paint repair can add lead time before fitting. Removal of old film, racks or other accessories can extend the workshop visit. Confirm your arrival and collection dates with the agreed work.
Trail damage is not automatically covered. Branch contact, rock impacts and abrasion are different from a material or fitting defect. Coverage follows the actual product and installation policy, including its exclusions and remedy.
No film guarantees that. Color vinyl is mainly decorative. Suitable PPF can reduce some surface damage, but branches, deep cuts and impacts can damage the film and underlying paint.
Plan this before fitting. Eligible panels should remain separate, with seals, latches and contact areas respected. Use the vehicle’s handling and storage instructions to avoid damaging the finished edges.
It is not a paint repair. Chips and surface defects can show through, while weak clear coat or a poor respray can create adhesion and removal risks. Assess those areas first.
Tell us your Jeep model and whether you want a full color change, one panel or graphics. Photos are helpful if available. We will guide you through the surfaces, finish and price at our Al Quoz workshop.
