Truck Wrapping in Dubai

Give a pickup a new finish or make a working truck identify your business clearly. The right quote starts by separating the cab, pickup bed, box body and trailer.

Choose solid-color vinyl for styling or printed graphics for business use. Our Al Quoz team offers design assistance and fitting, with materials, measured coverage and installation time agreed for your actual truck.

Two jobs with different priorities

Choose pickup styling or commercial truck graphics

A personal color change is judged by its finish and panel detail. Business graphics must also keep the message readable across the working body. Decide which result you need before choosing a package.

Personal pickup styling

Compare a complete exterior color change with a hood, tailgate, roof or accent combination. Choose a physical film sample and decide how much original color may remain at edges and door openings.

  • Single cab and double cab use different panel plans
  • Price a canopy separately from the truck body
  • Keep cargo-bed floors and liners outside body-film work
  • Choose gloss, satin, matte or printed graphics

Business identification and advertising

Choose logos and lettering, a partial printed design or wider coverage. Lay out the cab, box sides, rear doors and trailer independently so handles and openings do not cut through important information.

  • Keep the company name and contact details easy to read
  • Define artwork, printing, laminate and fitting separately
  • Check the applicable permissions before production
  • Price each truck body and its preparation individually

For repeated artwork, multiple vehicles and staged installations, use our commercial vehicle and fleet wrapping service. For one truck, start with the cab, body panels and finish you want.

Different bodies need different totals

Truck wrap prices and included areas

Use these published planning ranges to compare the type of work. The price unit is one truck or the named single panel. These are not fixed packages, and a box-body estimate cannot be used as a pickup color-change price.

Make an estimate useful

Measure the surfaces you want wrapped

Vehicle length alone does not tell us the graphic area. Start with the truck model, body type and areas you want covered. Photos or approximate dimensions can help if you have them. We arrange the fitting measurements needed before production.

Pickup cab and bed

Record cab type, door count, bed length, tailgate and any canopy. Note plastic rail caps, wheel-arch extensions, bed covers and modified bumpers.

Rigid box body

Measure each flat side and the rear door area. Photograph hinges, latches, rivets, rails and seams. State whether cab coverage is included.

Tractor and trailer

List the units separately. Record side length, height, front face and rear doors for the trailer. Identify refrigeration units, curtains or other specialist construction.

The surface changes the material choice

Inspect the body before printing the design

A smooth painted cab and a riveted box panel should not be treated as the same surface. Choose a film and installation method that suit the actual substrate and shape.

Details that matter on a working truck

Keep doors equipment and markings usable

The design must work around moving parts and the equipment you use every day. Map these areas before deciding where graphics begin and end.

Choose the material for the result

Compare color vinyl and printed graphics

We offer 3M vinyl wrapping. The supplied film series, finish and coverage belong on your quote. Printed branding needs a matching film, print and laminate combination.

Pickup styling

Solid-color vinyl

Choose the finish from a physical sample. Gloss, satin and matte reflect light differently, so view the sample in daylight as well as under workshop lighting.

Manufacturer, film series, color code and finish

Roof and trim coverage, edge returns, joins and any original-color borders
Business graphics

Printed film and laminate

Use a printable film intended for the actual body shape. A flat box side and a curved cab can require different material or fitting decisions.

Keep the product record

Film availability is confirmed with the quote. Keep the material details and artwork for later repairs. Cosmetic vinyl does not prevent dents, and removal risk depends on the paint, earlier repairs and film age.

Keep the truck working between stages

Plan artwork approval and fitting

Finish the design and required approvals before handing over a working vehicle. Design lead time, print production, installation and the first wash are different parts of the schedule.

  1. Measure and prepare the artwork

Provide the truck model, body type and the panels you want covered. Send an original logo file such as vector PDF, AI or EPS when available. Low-resolution artwork may need rebuilding, which should be separately priced.

  2. Approve the vehicle layout

Check spelling, phone numbers and the position of graphics around doors, seams and hardware. Agree included revision rounds and who gives final approval. A screen proof shows layout, while a physical sample helps assess important colors.

  3. Complete the applicable permissions

For a company vehicle registered in Dubai, RTA’s amendment service lists an Advertising Section eNOC for adding advertising. A color change has separate police eNOC and inspection requirements. Assign responsibility for applications and fees before production.

    Check RTA company vehicle requirements
  4. Print fit and inspect

Release the approved artwork for production, then arrange the fitting slot around preparation and access. At handover, review alignment, edges and the operation of doors and access points. Obtain the product-specific first-wash instructions.

For the business message and artwork approval, see car branding and campaign design. The truck quote here defines the actual cab, body or trailer surfaces and fitting work.

How much time should you allow

Published UAE guides allow around 2–3 working days for full pickup branding and 3–5 for a medium box-truck livery. These are market planning estimates, not our appointment guarantee. Artwork, approvals, old-film removal, repairs and print production can extend the overall schedule. Get the actual drop-off and collection dates in writing.

Check access before arrival

Share the truck’s height and length so the work location can be planned. Mobile or customer-site fitting is not assumed. Leased vehicles, other registration emirates and personal pickups may need a different permission route.

Keep the finish serviceable

Care repairs and warranty support

Our color-change and branding services include support for material defects and workmanship errors. The product, period and covered work must be recorded for your installation.

Material warranty

Record the exact film, installation date, covered areas and applicable local terms. Horizontal panels, specialist substrates and aftermarket coatings may have different conditions. Keep the manufacturer’s claim requirements with the invoice.

Installation support

Confirm who inspects an edge or fitting concern, the support period and the remedy. Accident damage, vandalism and improper care are excluded from the stated support. Loading wear, pressure washing and off-road contact need their own consideration.

Replace only the affected graphics

A damaged panel may be reproduced from the retained artwork when the material remains available. Check the adjacent graphics first because fading and batch differences can prevent an exact color match. Price removal, preparation, reprinting and fitting together.

Wash and remove with care

Follow the film maker’s first-wash period and cleaning method. Keep concentrated pressure away from edges and overlaps. Before removal, assess aging adhesive, repaired paint and weak finishes so extra preparation can be priced.

Truck wrapping questions

Compare the coverage, cost and limits before choosing your truck wrap.

Coverage and price

Does a full pickup wrap include the inside of the cargo bed?

No. Define the cab, outer bed sides and tailgate separately from the cargo floor, liner, rail caps and loading surfaces. Body-wrap film is not a bed-liner replacement.

Does the semi-truck guide include the trailer?

Do not assume it does. Ask the quote to identify the tractor and trailer separately, with dimensions, sides and covered panels for each unit.

How much does truck wrapping cost in Dubai?

The published planning guides are AED 1,200–2,000 for one pickup accent panel, AED 7,000–14,000 for box-truck graphics and AED 15,000–30,000 for a specified semi-truck graphics project. Full pickup business graphics have a separate market guide of AED 5,000–9,000 for Hilux, Ranger or L200-sized vehicles. Full pickup color styling and trailer-only work need measured quotes. Coverage, materials, preparation and VAT must be clear in the final total.

Installation and daily use

Can you wrap a rusty truck?

Film should not be used to conceal active corrosion, peeling paint or an unstable surface. Assess and repair the body first, then confirm that the finish is ready for film.

Can I use a normal wrap film on curtain sides?

Not automatically. A flexible curtain is a different substrate from a rigid painted panel. Material suitability and the application method need to be confirmed for that body.

Will a wrap prevent dents or remove without any paint damage?

No. Vinyl does not prevent dents. Removal outcomes depend on the underlying paint, previous repairs, film age and removal method.

Can I book several trucks together?

Yes, discuss the vehicle count and the number that can be released at once. Fleet production and batch handovers are planned through our commercial vehicle wrapping service.

Does the wrap price include removing old graphics?

Only when removal is listed in the quote. Film age, adhesive residue and paint condition can add preparation work. Inspect the exposed surface before confirming that it is ready for new graphics.

Will the wrap color look exactly like the screen preview?

A screen preview is a layout guide. Review a physical film or print sample when color is important, preferably under more than one lighting condition. Finish, viewing angle and the underlying surface affect the appearance. Approve the actual material choice before production.
