Make your working van recognizable

Van Wrapping in Dubai

A van that’s hard to identify is a missed introduction. Give customers a clear business name, service and contact route, without covering panels you don’t need.

Choose lettering, partial printed livery or a full exterior wrap at Wrapping.ae in Al Quoz. We’ll discuss your van’s body size, artwork and working schedule before confirming the fitted price.

Spend on the message first

Three ways to make the van work for your business

Is the goal a readable name, a stronger branded presence or a completely different exterior? Start there. A clear partial design can be a better fit than a full wrap crowded with information.

01

Lettering and logos

Make a clean van easy to recognize

Individual cut letters or printed decals on agreed side and rear panels. The original body color remains the background.

Useful for
Business name, core service and a clear phone number.
Agree before fitting
Graphic dimensions, panel count, installation and removal of existing lettering.
02

Partial printed livery

Put the design where people will see it

Printed sections on the sides, rear doors or lower body, with deliberate areas of original paint left visible.

Useful for
A larger visual identity without changing every painted panel.
Agree before fitting
A panel drawing showing exactly where the print starts, stops and meets the original color.
03

Full exterior wrap

Build one consistent exterior finish

Printed business graphics or solid-color vinyl across the agreed outer painted panels. These are different material and production choices.

Useful for
A coordinated exterior for a new identity or a wider visual change.
Agree before fitting
A written panel list. Roof, bumpers, door returns, glass, plastics and door shuts are not automatically included.

Compare like-for-like work

Van wrap price guides and what the quote covers

The cost depends on the size of the graphic, the van body and the film system. Use the published commercial-category guides below to start budgeting, then compare the fitted quote against a measured panel drawing.

Start with your van model and whether you want logos, partial livery or a full exterior. Photos are helpful if you have them. We can review body length, roof height and artwork together before production.

Cargo van partial wrap guideFrom AED 4,500

For an agreed partial commercial wrap. This is not a fixed price for every logo set or rear-door graphic. The amount of printed coverage and the actual van must be specified.

Delivery van full wrap guideAED 7,000 to 12,000

A full commercial wrap planning range. The roof, bumpers, glass and door openings must be listed individually. High-roof, converted or unusually large bodies need their own assessment.

These general estimates follow our commercial wrapping price guide. They are not fixed fitted packages. VAT treatment, the exact film and laminate, artwork, preparation, removal and installation inclusions are confirmed in the written quote. Request the final VAT-inclusive amount before approval.

Get the panel plan and price together

Tell us which van you use and the result you want. We can help with coverage and artwork, then arrange the measurements needed for a written fitted quote.

A smaller livery or a complete business identity

These are planning examples using the published commercial price guides, not completed customer projects. Film, design, preparation and VAT must be resolved in the final quotation. A smaller area does not automatically mean that every material or production step costs less.

Typical job estimate

2022 Ford Transit partial livery

Starting guide AED 4,500

A delivery business keeps the original body color and adds printed graphics to agreed side and rear areas. The layout leaves useful painted space clear and gives the business name and contact details a readable position.

The actual body length, doors, graphic dimensions and laminate determine the quote. This example assumes sound painted panels and a straightforward layout. Old graphics, artwork rebuilding, permits and repairs need explicit pricing. The starting guide is not a guaranteed complete total.

Typical job estimate

2021 Toyota Hiace full commercial wrap

Guide AED 7,000 to 12,000

A coordinated printed design covers the agreed outer body rather than only a logo area. The quote needs the print film, compatible laminate, panel plan and fitting work together, with roof and bumper coverage decided before production.

Inspect previous repairs, deep channels and door edges before choosing the material. A high roof, equipment removal or extensive old-film cleanup can change the budget and downtime. Confirm what is included and the tax line instead of treating this range as a booking price.

Approve the design before printing

Good livery still reads around doors and handles

Make the important details easy to read

A long menu of services can hide the one thing someone needs to remember. Give the business name, main service and preferred contact detail a clear order. Check the rear as carefully as the sides. A customer may only see the van from one angle.

  • Supply a vector logo where possible. A small screenshot can become soft or jagged when enlarged.
  • Check every phone number, web address and spelling on the final proof.
  • Keep important words clear of handles, hinges, tracks and panel gaps.
  • Review sliding doors open and closed, so an essential word doesn’t disappear or become misleading.

Match the printed color, not your screen

A phone display and a printed panel can look different. For important brand colors, discuss a physical sample and practical matching limits before committing to the full print run. Note the approved finish as well as the color.

Build in room for future changes

If a phone number or service list may change, discuss whether those details can be separate graphics. Keep the approved artwork version and print specification so a later repair starts with the right files.

Check QR codes at the finished print size and from a practical viewing distance while the van is parked. Keep the main phone number readable even if the code is not scanned. Test the destination and agree who controls future website or contact changes.

Need a new identity or artwork across several vehicle types? Our vehicle branding service covers the wider design and approval discussion. This page focuses on fitting that design to your van.

Measure the van you actually operate

Body length and roof height change the job

How van body details affect the livery plan
Van or body detailDesign and fitting decisionUseful details for the layout
Compact or short-wheelbaseUse the limited uninterrupted area carefully. Windows can reduce usable space. Both sides and the rear, including handles and glass.
Long-wheelbase or extra-longCheck panel dimensions and join positions. Don’t stretch artwork from a shorter version.Exact body version, sliding-door layout and overall side photos.

Hiace, Transit, Sprinter and Caddy names each cover different bodies. We can start with the model, then check dimensions and any conversion before preparing print-ready artwork. You do not need to measure every panel before contacting us.

The details that keep the finish tidy

Look closely at recesses, joins and door edges

The material must suit the shape

Printed livery usually combines adhesive film, ink and a compatible protective laminate. For complex curves or deep channels, choose a system rated for that application. A laminate protects the printed graphic. It is not stone-chip PPF.

For example, 3M documents IJ280 print film with 8428G gloss overlaminate as a compatible system. Product references help you ask informed questions. They do not confirm current workshop stock or a warranty for your quotation.

Agree visible joins

Panel sizes, printed patterns and recesses can call for joins or separate pieces. Ask where they will sit and how the graphic continues across them. Seamless everywhere is not a useful blanket promise.

Protect access and movement

Handles, seals, hinges, sensors, plates, lights and ventilation must remain usable. Agree any removal and refitting before work starts. Glass graphics need their own suitability and approval checks.

Finishing vinyl around the painted edge of a van rear door
Door-edge finishing should be agreed with the visible exterior coverage.
Ask to see the detail. When discussing previous van work, request close-ups of door edges, recesses and joins as well as the whole vehicle. Those views help you judge the finish you are choosing.

A wrap needs a sound starting surface

Old graphics or damaged paint? Deal with that first

Faded lettering and adhesive

Removing the old design can reveal a paint-color difference where the surrounding surface has weathered. Adhesive cleanup and the condition beneath the film need assessment. Don’t assume fitting a smaller new logo will hide the old outline.

Rust, peeling paint or dents

Vinyl does not repair a damaged panel. Loose paint, corrosion and rough repairs can affect adhesion and remain visible through the film. Agree necessary bodywork before wrapping and price that work separately.

Repainted or recently repaired areas

Tell us about repainting and provide available repair details. The surface must be ready for the selected film, with curing guidance from the paint supplier. Removal risk depends on paint adhesion, film age and the vehicle’s history.

A pre-installation condition record protects both sides of the discussion. Photograph existing defects and agree the accepted panel condition before fitting. No installer can promise damage-free removal from every previously painted surface.

Keep the van earning

Move the paperwork and printing ahead of the workshop visit

Before drop-off

Make it ready to produce

  • Confirm the measured body and final artwork.
  • Check applicable advertising or color-change approvals.
  • Confirm film availability, print work and the accepted quote.

This means the van is not waiting in the workshop for a missing logo or an unapproved design.

During installation

Allow for the actual preparation

  • Record paint condition and agreed removal.
  • Prepare and fit the accepted graphic layout.
  • Complete product-specific finishing and checks.

This means preparation and edge work have an agreed place in the schedule, instead of becoming a surprise.

Before returning to work

Check the finished van together

  • Read the lettering and inspect joins and edges.
  • Check doors and affected fittings operate normally.
  • Collect the product record and first-wash instructions.

This means the driver knows how to care for the livery from the first shift.

Small graphics and a full high-roof wrap need different amounts of workshop time. Full exterior work may take several days. Confirm the drop-off and collection window after assessment. The inquiry itself does not reserve a confirmed slot.

Several vans to fit? Ask about staged installation through our commercial vehicle wrapping service. Agree one vehicle’s downtime at a time around your transport needs.

Separate the two promises

Know what covers the print and the fitting

A durable livery depends on the printed system and the installation. A film brand alone does not describe the ink, laminate, exposure conditions or the remedy if a problem appears.

Film and printed system

Keep the film and laminate product codes with the artwork record. The applicable cover may depend on the approved combination of film, ink, printer and laminate. Discuss fading, cracking or delamination under the actual regional terms rather than relying on a generic lifespan.

Fitting and edge support

The installation-support period should identify how to report a lifting edge, a concern at a recess or another workmanship issue. Check whether the remedy includes removal, new material and refitting. Accidental damage and unsuitable cleaning need separate consideration.

Roof and future removal

Horizontal exposure can carry different conditions from vertical side panels. If the roof is included, have its terms recorded. Removal from repainted or weakened panels also needs its own condition assessment. Keep the claim contact and the date coverage begins with the invoice.

Keep a useful record

Make cleaning, repairs and the next update easier

Give the driver the care instructions

Follow the supplied film’s first-wash timing and cleaning guidance. Use compatible products, remove contamination promptly and avoid directing a pressure jet into film edges. If an edge lifts, send clear photos before pulling it or trying to stick it down.

Keep the approved artwork version, film codes and covered-panel list with the invoice. These records make a later panel replacement easier, especially when the design has changed or a different person manages the vehicle.

Van wrapping questions

How much does van wrapping cost in Dubai?

Our published commercial guides start at AED 4,500 for a cargo van partial wrap and give AED 7,000 to 12,000 for a full delivery van wrap. These are general category estimates, not fixed van packages. Logos, high-roof bodies and custom graphics need an individual quote. Compare the film, print, laminate, installation, extras and final VAT-inclusive total.

Can you use my existing company artwork?

Send the original files and a photo of the van. We can discuss whether the design fits that body and whether the files are suitable for printing. Artwork rebuilding and extra revisions should be identified in the quote.

Does a full van wrap include the roof?

Only if it is listed. Roof height, racks, access and the intended design affect the decision. Door shuts, unpainted plastics and window graphics also need separate agreement.

Can I wrap a van that is already signwritten?

Usually the existing graphics and the paint beneath them need assessment first. Old film, adhesive and weathering can change the preparation. Send close-up photos as well as full views of each side.

Do I need approval for business graphics in Dubai?

Check the current requirements for your vehicle, business activity and proposed advertising before printing or fitting. A color change can involve a separate process. Agree who handles submissions and fees. They are not automatically included in installation.

Will the same design fit a second van?

It needs checking against that van’s dimensions, doors, windows and equipment. Reuse the brand identity, but adapt the production artwork when the body differs.

Can a wrap hide a dent or peeling paint?

No. Film follows the surface and does not repair it. Assess the panel and agree necessary repairs before installation. A wrap should not be sold as a substitute for sound bodywork.

How long will the van be off the road?

A small graphics job and a complete high-roof wrap need different schedules. Full exterior work may take several days. Artwork approval, any required permissions and material availability should be settled before drop-off where possible. Agree the actual installation, checking and collection window for your van.
