Measured artwork and considered placement

Custom Car Window Decals in Dubai

Get the design you want without treating every piece of vehicle glass as a sticker space.

Start with the vehicle, intended window, approximate size and quantity. We can review cut lettering, printed graphics and suitable window-film options, with placement and any required approval resolved before production.

Visibility is a design requirement

Choose the placement before the design is produced

A clear area of glass is not automatically an approved decal location. Review the proposed position from inside and outside the vehicle, with the driver’s view and the intended road use in mind. A material described as see-through does not provide the same view as clear, uncovered glass.

Personal lettering and decoration

Confirm the proposed size, glass position and design with the relevant vehicle licensing authority before fitting. A small sticker is not automatically exempt. Do not cover a driver’s required view, cameras, sensors or a high-mounted brake light.

If the location cannot be confirmed as suitable, reduce the design, move it to an approved position or consider a body-panel graphic.

Business names and advertising

Mada Media’s listed full and partial vehicle-advertising categories exclude windows, and its conditions prohibit advertising on the windshield. A standard vehicle advertising permit must not be treated as approval for window coverage.

Route a commercial proposal through car branding and advertising approval before printing. Confirm any proposed window use specifically with the authority.

Keep the approved layout with the order. A material specification, workshop quote or online mockup is not road-use approval. For a leased vehicle, confirm the owner’s permission as well.

Appearance and visibility need separate checks

Match the material to the artwork and the glass

Cut vinyl lettering

Separate letters or shapes are cut from colored film and positioned with transfer tape. This suits simple text and logos without a printed background. Fine strokes and very small lettering may need simplifying so the design can be cut, handled and fitted cleanly.

Printed decals

Printing supports photographs, gradients and multicolor artwork. Choose an opaque or clear base deliberately. On clear film, white areas and pale colors need a print specification so they do not disappear against dark glass. Agree the visible background and any compatible protective laminate.

Perforated window film

A printed pattern of small holes trades image coverage against the view through the glass. It is not a guarantee of clear night visibility or privacy. Product selection, print, laminate and placement must suit the vehicle and any required approval.

Inside or outside application

An inside-facing adhesive and reverse-readable artwork require a product designed for that application. Dark existing tint can hide an inside-mounted design. Confirm which side of the glass will carry the film and which direction the finished text must read.

Check the existing glass treatment

Tell us about tint film, a hydrophobic coating, scratches and any damaged rear-window heater lines. Adhesion and removal must be assessed for the actual surface. Contra Vision cautions against application to some specialist coated glass and recommends a compatible overlaminate for its vehicle perforated film to help preserve the view when water or dirt reaches the holes.

Material examples describe options to assess. They are not a claim that every film is stocked or approved for every car.

Compare dimensions and quantity before price

Custom car window decal prices in AED

These are Wrapping.ae’s previously published planning ranges, not confirmed current packages. The original guide did not specify dimensions, quantity, material grade, installation or VAT treatment. Use them to begin a discussion, then compare a written price for the same measured job.

Text and quote designs

AED 100–700

Previously published design-category range

For a lettering request, specify the finished width and height, number of lines, color and quantity.

  • Confirm cut or printed production
  • State each intended glass position
  • Identify supplied artwork or drawing work

The old range does not establish a per-piece or fitted price.

Printed designs

AED 150–900

Previously published design-category range

For a multicolor graphic, state the final dimensions, number of copies and opaque, clear or perforated construction.

  • Confirm print and finish requirements
  • Include the proof and revisions in scope
  • Separate fitting from supply-only

Perforated film is not a confirmed inclusion at this range.

Custom vinyl designs

AED 250–1,500

Previously published design-category range

This broad earlier category needs a measured design before it can be compared with another quote.

  • Count colors, pieces and copies
  • Confirm film and finished dimensions
  • List preparation and fitting separately

This category can overlap with lettering and printing.

The same earlier guide listed business designs at AED 200–1,200, graphic art at AED 300–1,700 and themed designs at AED 180–1,000. These describe artwork categories, not different levels of coverage. Do not add the ranges together or treat a commercial design price as including advertising approval.

Ask for the complete order total

The quote should show the number of decals, unit amount where applicable and total order amount. Specify design or file preparation, material, cutting or printing, laminate if needed, installation and cleanup. Old-film removal, damaged glass or tint, delivery and permit work need separate treatment. Confirm whether VAT is included and obtain the final payable total.

From your idea to a production-ready design

Send a usable brief and approve a measured proof

Start with the wording or design you have in mind. A clear brief helps establish the right size, material and order scope before artwork is prepared or film is cut.

What to send with your inquiry

The vehicle and window
Share the model and intended position. A photo helps show wipers, heater lines, cameras and existing tint.
The design and size
Send the wording, logo or reference with an approximate width and height. Measurements can be confirmed before production.
The number of copies
State how many decals you need and whether they are identical or use different names, numbers or layouts.
The service you need
Say whether you want fitting or a supply-only order. Include your preferred color and any inside-glass application request.

Prepare the file

Send the best artwork you have

Vector files such as PDF, AI, EPS or SVG are useful for logos and cut shapes. Include linked images and convert fonts to outlines where possible. A screenshot may need redrawing, which should be quoted first.

For printed artwork, image quality must be checked at the finished size. Ask for the required bleed and cut-line setup for the chosen production method. You do not need to guess the technical settings to begin an inquiry.

Make changes while the design is still a file

Approve the artwork and placement before cutting or printing. A later change to size, text or quantity may require new material and a revised charge.

The same decal can have a different service scope

Choose fitted decals or a supply-only order

Cut vinyl prepared before transfer. Fitting side and approved placement are agreed separately.

Fitted work

Agree inspection, removal of any old sticker, surface preparation and installation as named quote items. Check that the selected adhesive suits the glass or existing surface treatment. Fitting should follow the actual film instructions, including application conditions and any settling period.

Supply-only work

Confirm availability for your design and what arrives with the order. Ask whether pieces are cut, weeded and supplied with transfer tape where required, and whether installation instructions are included. A supplied decal does not include on-car alignment, surface preparation or road-use approval unless expressly agreed.

Plan production and collection separately

Timing depends on artwork approval, material availability, print finishing and the number of copies. Old-film removal and fitting add time. Confirm a production date after the proof is accepted and a separate appointment if installation is included.

Check before leaving

Compare size, position, reading direction and finish with the approved proof. Inspect edges and ask which temporary effects, if any, are normal for the selected application method. Keep the artwork version and material details for reorders.

Care, replacement and removal

Wash around the edges gently

Follow the product-specific first-wash instructions. Use compatible cleaners and soft materials. Avoid scraping the print or directing a strong water jet at the edges. Stop and ask for advice if the edge lifts.

Keep a reorder record

Save dimensions, the final file and the film specification. A later print can differ from a weathered decal or a different batch. Compare a replacement sample before ordering multiple matching pieces.

Removal needs an assessment

Old adhesive can leave residue, and existing tint, coatings or damaged heater lines need particular care. Do not assume removal is damage-free or use a blade on a sensitive surface. Agree removal and any cleanup separately.

Custom car window decal questions

Can I put a decal anywhere on the car window

No blanket position is approved by this page. Check the exact vehicle, design, size and location with the relevant authority and keep required views and equipment unobstructed. The presence of a rear-view camera does not make window coverage automatically acceptable.

Is perforated film the same as window tint

No. Perforated graphics use printed film with holes. Window tint is a separate product and service. Neither a see-through description nor a tint allowance establishes permission for a window advertisement.

Can a business logo go on the rear window

Do not assume a standard vehicle-advertising permit includes it. Mada Media’s listed full and partial wrap categories exclude windows. Confirm the specific proposal with the authority before production or move the advertising to an approved body-panel layout.

Can you work from my logo or a phone image

Send the best file available. A vector logo is preferable for clean cut shapes. A phone image can help explain a design, but low resolution or missing fonts may require paid artwork preparation. Agree that work and the proof before production.

Does the price include installation and VAT

The earlier published ranges do not establish either inclusion. Your current written quote should state dimensions, quantity, production method, supply-only or fitted scope, extras, VAT treatment and the complete order total.

Will the decal protect the glass or make it private at night

Do not order a decorative decal as impact protection or guaranteed night privacy. See-through effects depend on the product and lighting. If visibility or a privacy requirement cannot be met safely, choose another solution.

How long will it last and what warranty applies

The film, print, exposure, cleaning and fitting surface all matter. Request written terms for the actual product and installation. No universal durability period or fade warranty is promised here.
