Full exterior color change
Choose this when you want the agreed painted bodywork to read as one new finish. Name the hood, roof, trunk, doors, fenders, bumpers and mirror caps in the quote.
A different look without replacing the car
Want a new color, but still like your Dodge’s character? Compare a full wrap with a darker hood, roof or racing stripes before deciding how much to change.
We help you plan vinyl coverage for your Charger, Challenger or Durango at Wrapping.ae in Al Quoz. Start with the actual panels, the existing paint and a finish you will enjoy living with.
Category planning ranges. Full-sedan and full-SUV figures include 5% VAT. Film, covered panels, preparation, removal and VAT for accents and stripes are confirmed in your quote.

Spend on the change you actually want
Choose this when you want the agreed painted bodywork to read as one new finish. Name the hood, roof, trunk, doors, fenders, bumpers and mirror caps in the quote.
Keep most of the original color and add contrast where it matters. A dark hood can work with a roof or trunk accent, but each panel is priced and planned individually.
Use the existing paint as part of the design. Agree stripe width, spacing, endpoints and how the layout passes around scoops, vents or badges.
Compare the work behind the number
A roof accent and a full Charger wrap are different jobs. These guides help you plan a budget, while the selected film, body style and paint condition determine the written quotation.
| Work to compare | Guide in AED | Coverage and conditions |
|---|---|---|
| One painted hood, roof or trunk | 1,200–2,000 | One named painted panel. Scoops, openings, existing graphics and surface repairs need assessment. |
| Custom racing stripes | 1,800–2,500 | Agree the layout, stripe width and covered panels. Old-stripe removal is confirmed separately. |
| Full Charger sedan exterior | 8,400–15,750 including 5% VAT | Our sedan category guide. Confirm your body style, film, bumpers, mirrors and visible-exterior panel list. |
| Full Durango SUV exterior | 15,750–26,250 including 5% VAT | Our SUV category guide. Roof details, trim, bodywork and selected film affect the final price. |
| Challenger coupe or other bodywork | Individual quote | Price the actual car, including widebody panels, altered bumpers, spoilers or custom graphics. |
These ranges come from our published wrapping price guide. They are planning references, not fixed model packages. Full-exterior sedan and SUV ranges include 5% VAT where shown; VAT for panel accents and stripes is confirmed separately. Your written quote should itemize the film, fitting, preparation, old-film removal, any repairs, VAT and the final amount payable before booking.
Manufacturer, series, color code and finish should be written down. A price for unspecified vinyl is difficult to compare with a particular cast wrap film.
Door jambs, artwork, badges, specialty trim, paint repair and authority fees are not automatically included. Ask about each item that matters to your car.
Keep the design working across every panel
A stripe can look simple from a distance. The layout becomes more important where it crosses a hood scoop, roof opening or trunk edge. Review its starting points, gaps and finish before fitting.
Changing old stripes? Include their removal and the condition underneath in the plan. New graphics should not be expected to hide raised edges or failing material.
Agree the center gap and how both stripes stay aligned across the hood, roof and trunk. Decide which panels are actually included.
A central stripe or hood accent can retain more of the original color. Map its edges around a scoop or vent instead of covering functional openings.
Choose where the design begins and ends around doors and rear quarters. Keep important badges or factory details only where you want them.
For a graphics-led change, compare our custom racing stripe installation. A reference picture starts the conversation, but the layout needs to fit your actual Dodge.
Coverage follows the shape of your Dodge
Long side panels and multiple doors make joins, handles and stripe alignment worth discussing together. Share photos of the roof, bumpers and any changed parts. A different Charger body style needs its own assessment.
The hood treatment and rear quarters strongly influence the finished look. Explain whether you want to retain factory stripes, replace them or build a new contrast around them.
Hellcat or Scat Pack badges do not define one fitting package. Flares, scoops, splitters and spoilers vary. List the fitted parts and the pieces that stay uncovered.
A taller body brings a different roof, rear section and trim arrangement. Older Dodges, Vipers and modified vehicles are quoted around their condition and panel access. For a Ram pickup, identify the cab and bed separately.

Choose the look and the care routine
Choose stronger reflections and a paint-like appearance. Compare the sample with the grille, wheels and any existing gloss-black details.
Softer reflections can bring out the body shape without the flat appearance of matte. Look at a physical sample in both sun and shade.
A flatter look suits an owner who is comfortable with finish-specific care. Do not plan to polish it like glossy paint.
Carbon-look vinyl is a visual finish, not a carbon-fiber body panel. Printed, metallic or color-shift designs need their own material, orientation and replacement plan.
Appearance and impact protection are different purchases
| Your priority | Work to consider | What to remember |
|---|---|---|
| A new color or graphic | Color-change or printed vinyl | Designed around appearance and covered surfaces. Do not treat it as a stone-chip protection package. |
| Protection from road debris | Purpose-made paint protection film | Compare its product and coverage separately. Clear PPF can retain the existing paint color. |
| Peeling paint, dents or corrosion | Body and paint assessment | Film does not rebuild weak paint or repair damage underneath. |
| A permanent color change | A repaint quotation | Compare preparation and the finished total. Wrapping is not automatically the cheaper solution. |
If chips are your main concern, explore paint protection film coverage before choosing a color wrap. Combining products is a separate specification, not an automatic inclusion.
For a single-color exterior, compare a named automotive wrap film and a physical sample. Record the series and finish as well as the manufacturer. Gloss, satin and matte describe appearance; they do not establish the same care requirements, product terms or price.
A custom printed design needs an approved artwork layout, scale and panel boundaries. Cut stripes need agreed widths and spacing. Ask the quote to identify the film and any protective laminate used with printed graphics, plus artwork and fitting charges.
Protect the decision as well as the appearance
Agree what is removed and whether adhesive cleanup is included. After removal, the paint may show a difference from areas that have weathered uncovered.
Tell the team about repairs even if the finish looks good. Paint adhesion, cure and condition affect whether film application and later removal are suitable.
Loose paint and surface damage need assessment first. A wrap can follow imperfections instead of concealing them, so preparation can be the more important part of the job.
Small details decide the finished appearance

Decide how far the film returns around accessible edges. Original color may remain visible in door openings unless additional coverage is agreed.
Name what is removed, what stays and how refitting is handled. Avoid an undefined promise that every part will be dismantled.
Ask where an inlay or join may be needed around a bumper or shaped panel. Discuss its position before work starts.
Look at stripe spacing across panels and the orientation of directional films. A consistent finish depends on planning these together.
Know when your car is needed
Send the model, year, current finish and panel photos. Mention old film, repairs and aftermarket parts.
Confirm film, coverage, preparation, removal, VAT-inclusive total and the expected collection date.
Cleaning, any agreed removal and fitting follow the selected material’s instructions. New findings should be discussed before extra work.
Inspect the finish in good light, including joins, edges, trim and stripe alignment. Keep the film and care details.
Allow a few days for a full color change as a planning guide. An accent or stripe job has its own schedule. Paint preparation, old-film removal, artwork and material supply can change the time, so confirm the actual fitting slot.
Plan for changes after fitting
A damaged door, changed hood or revised stripe design does not automatically mean replacing the entire wrap. Start with the affected area, then compare the result and cost of a local replacement with a larger matched section.
Keep the manufacturer, series and color code so the original material can be identified. A photograph alone cannot confirm a match. If the paint or bodywork is damaged, assess that surface before specifying replacement vinyl.
Include removal, adhesive cleanup and any preparation in the replacement quote. A new piece of film does not repair a dent or unstable paint underneath.
New material can look different beside an older wrap. Review a sample beside the surrounding panels and decide whether one panel, a pair of adjoining areas or a complete stripe run gives the appearance you want.
For racing stripes, record the width, gap, panel endpoints and direction of the original layout. If the original film is no longer supplied, approve an alternative design before anything is removed.
Before you book and after you collect
Before a registered color change
RTA guidance directs licensed vehicle owners to Dubai Police for a color-change permit. Confirm the inspection and registration steps, and ask how a partial or multicolor design is treated.
Check relevant lease, finance and insurance conditions. Approval fees and administration are separate unless expressly included in the quote.
Save the series, color code and invoice. They help identify replacement material, although new film and an older surrounding wrap may not match perfectly.
Obtain the applicable UAE film warranty and the separate fitting terms. Each should name its duration, covered issues, exclusions and claim contact. Keep them with the invoice and report lifting edges or another fitting concern before attempting a repair.
Answers that help you choose
Published planning ranges are AED 1,200–2,000 for one painted panel, AED 1,800–2,500 for stripes, AED 8,400–15,750 including 5% VAT for sedan exterior work and AED 15,750–26,250 including 5% VAT for SUV exterior work. They are not fixed Charger, Challenger or Durango packages. Film, coverage, preparation and VAT need a vehicle-specific written quote.
Yes, a suitable painted hood can be assessed as a single-panel job. The category planning guide is AED 1,200–2,000. Identify scoops, vents, old graphics and preparation, then confirm the material and final VAT-inclusive quote.
No. The sedan guide applies to comparable sedan exterior work. A Challenger coupe, SUV, widebody conversion or custom design needs its own coverage and fitting assessment.
A selected stripe or panel can be assessed. The film code, age and surrounding finish affect the match. Replacing one piece may leave a visible difference.
Send the model, year, body style, panel photos and the coverage you want. Include any existing wrap, repair history and a finish reference. You do not need to settle on a color before starting the discussion.
That cannot be guaranteed for every car. Sound original paint differs from weak, repaired or repainted surfaces. Film age, condition and removal method also matter, so the paint needs assessment before fitting.
The existing graphics need assessment. Their edges or defects can affect the next finish. Agree removal and cleanup rather than assuming another layer is suitable.
There is no single lifespan for every film and panel. Product, parking, care and horizontal exposure matter. Obtain the UAE-applicable product terms and installation support details in writing.
No. Cab, bed, tailgate, trim and any graphics need a separate vehicle-specific quote. Send the pickup configuration so the painted area and exclusions can be identified.
