Give your SUV a new look without repainting sound original paint. Compare a full color change, a contrasting roof and protection for the panels that take the most wear.
Tell us your model and the finish you have in mind. Our Al Quoz workshop will assess paint condition, roof hardware and accessories before quoting the agreed panels.
Painted body, roof and lower trim can be treated as separate design choices.

Three useful starting points
SUV wrap prices and coverage choices
These category ranges come from our published wrapping price guide. They are planning figures for color vinyl, not a fixed price for every SUV or a PPF tariff. The actual body size, material and condition determine the quotation.

Individual quoteProduct and panel list required
Compare front coverage with full body
Name full or partial hood coverage
Add other exposed areas explicitly
Ask for a final VAT-inclusive total that identifies film supply and fitting, preparation, old-film removal, repair work and agreed disassembly. Door jambs, accessories and deep inner returns are not automatically included. A cheaper quote may cover fewer surfaces.
A roof accent or a complete SUV color change
These typical job estimates use our published vinyl categories. They illustrate the difference in coverage and spending, not completed customer installations or fixed offers. The written quote identifies the supplied film, fitting work, preparation, exclusions and final VAT-inclusive amount.
Typical job estimate
2021 Toyota RAV4 painted roof accent
AED 1,200 to 2,000 guide
A contrasting finish on one suitable painted roof panel can change the look while leaving the body color in place. The proposed work uses automotive color vinyl on sound paint, with cleaning and edge finishing specified in the fitted quote.
Glass, rails, antenna work, pillars and mirrors are separate decisions. This single-panel guide does not price a complete two-tone package. Old adhesive, damaged paint or difficult access can change the final amount.
Typical job estimate
2022 Nissan Patrol exterior color change
AED 15,000 to 25,000 guide
For an SUV with stable paint and no old wrap, compare a single color across the agreed outer painted panels. List the hood, roof, doors, rear quarters, bumpers and other included pieces before the material is ordered.
The selected film, joins and accessory access determine the fitted specification. Deep door jambs, textured plastics, repairs and removal are separate unless included. This estimate is for appearance vinyl and does not include a front PPF package by default.
Avoid surprises at collection
Define the roof and every visible edge
A complete-looking result starts with a complete panel list. Use these six decisions to prevent gaps between the design you imagined and the work priced.
01
Painted roof and roof glass
Identify the painted strips around panoramic glass and the rear roof section. Glass, rubber seals and sliding mechanisms are separate from a painted roof wrap. Confirm the visible boundary when the sunroof is closed and open.
02
Rails, racks and antennas
Agree whether rails or rack mounts are removed or worked around, and who handles refitting. Ask how edges beneath fixed hardware will finish. Roof boxes and aftermarket brackets are not automatically part of the same job.
03
Doors and inner returns
Exterior coverage can leave the original color visible when a door opens. If that contrast will bother you, discuss jambs and deeper returns before selecting the new finish. Those areas add work and need explicit pricing.
04
Cladding, steps and bumpers
Separate painted lower panels from textured plastic and rubber. Do not assume every black part can be wrapped. Running boards, tow covers and guards need an individual surface and access assessment.
05
Mirrors, handles and spoiler
Choose matching or contrasting accents and specify each part. Mirror shells, tailgate trim and curved spoiler edges can require more fitting detail than their size suggests.
06
Cameras, sensors and openings
Keep cameras, sensors, vents, seals and moving parts functional. Agree treatment around fuel or charge flaps. The design should work with these features rather than obscure them.
Quote the actual body
Your SUV’s shape changes the job
Size affects material use, but intricate bumpers and access can matter just as much. These planning examples help you explain your vehicle without guessing its package.
Compact crossover
Painted areas first
A smaller crossover may leave substantial textured cladding uncovered. Narrow painted roof strips and contrasting pillars still need careful boundaries.
Painted roof strips and glass boundaries
Smooth paint and textured cladding
Mirror and spoiler coverage
Large family SUV
Longer panels and higher access
Large doors, rear quarters and a tall roof create a different fitting plan from a sedan. Third-row seating does not determine the quote by itself.
Body length and rear-door shape
Tailgate and rear bumper coverage
Rails, steps and spare-wheel covers
Modified 4x4
Accessories need a separate plan
Body kits, guards, racks and old trail damage can change suitability and access. A wrap does not make those parts impact-proof.
Body kits and accessory access
Existing chips and repaired panels
Appearance vinyl or protective film
Compare the body details on our Nissan Patrol and X-Trail page and Kia Sportage, Sorento and EV6 page for details that may affect your choice. You can start with the model name. Photos and accessory details are useful follow-ups, not a condition for contacting us.
Choose the right starting point
Wrap sound paint and repair unstable surfaces first
A new finish should not hide a problem that will return underneath it. This check can prevent paying for a wrap that later needs to come off for bodywork.
Sound factory finish
Discuss wrapping
If the paint is intact and well bonded, assess it for the chosen film and preparation. Record existing chips before fitting.
Film follows the panel shape
Dents can remain visible
Existing damage belongs on the condition record
Previous repair or respray
Inspect before committing
Tell the installer which panels were repainted and when. Repaired paint can have different adhesion and removal risks from factory paint.
Disclose repairs even if they look sound
Ask about an appropriate suitability check
Agree the risk and preparation in writing
Peeling or failing finish
Discuss repair first
Lifting clear coat, corrosion or loose paint needs assessment before covering it. Wrapping is an appearance treatment, not a repair for unstable paint.
Obtain a separate repair recommendation
Allow the repair system’s required curing
Reassess before film installation
Choose appearance and protection separately
Color vinyl
Choose automotive vinyl to change color, sheen or selected accents. It may provide a sacrificial surface against light wear, but it is not a dent-prevention system and does not make an SUV scratch-proof.
Paint protection film
Choose a named PPF product when reducing stone chips and surface damage is the main goal. Protection depends on the product, coverage and impact. PPF cannot guarantee freedom from dents, deep scratches or off-road damage.
A front package should name the bumper, hood, front fenders and mirrors, including full or partial coverage. Lower doors, rocker areas, loading edges and the roof require separate decisions. See our paint protection film service to discuss suitable products.
Agree the film before comparing warranties. Record the manufacturer, exact series, color code, covered surfaces and UAE-applicable term. Horizontal roof and hood coverage may have different conditions from vertical panels. A brand name or an overseas maximum is not your local warranty.
01
Highway driving
Discuss the front bumper, full or partial hood, front fenders and mirror caps. Ask what happens at joins and panel boundaries. More coverage costs more, so prioritize the surfaces you want protected.
02
Family loading and everyday use
Loading ledges, door edges and handle recesses may deserve attention alongside the front end. Name those areas explicitly. A package called full front will not necessarily include them.
Choose a named color film
3M Wrap Film Series 2080 and Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film are examples of automotive appearance films. Compare the actual series and color code offered for your SUV. A manufacturer name alone does not confirm the supplied finish, available stock or local warranty.
Keep protection separate
If stone-chip resistance is the priority, request the exact PPF series and covered panels. The temporary protective layer supplied on some gloss wrapping films is an installation aid. It is not an additional long-term PPF package for your SUV.
Choose a finish you will enjoy owning
Gloss, satin or matte changes more than the shine
Compare physical samples against your wheels, roof glass and existing trim. A screen gives an idea of the look, but it cannot confirm the supplied color or texture.
A lower-sheen body finish changes how the SUV’s contours catch light.
Gloss
A reflective finish suits owners who want a paint-like shine. Compare metallic or solid options in different light and confirm the exact film code. Do not assume that a gloss vinyl can be corrected with the same abrasives as paint.
Satin
A softer reflection can emphasize the body lines without the flatter appearance of matte. View a larger sample where possible. Agree care products that preserve the selected sheen.
Matte
A low-reflection finish needs compatible cleaning and an acceptance of how marks show on that particular color. Polishing a dull area can change the appearance rather than restore it.
Specialty finish
Color-shifting, chrome-like or textured options need separate product and availability checks. Discuss direction, joins and later replacement before choosing a finish based only on a small online sample.
Compare complete offers
Make the written quote easy to compare
Two quotes are only comparable when they specify the same product, surfaces and preparation. Use this checklist to see what the total actually buys.
Your quote should identify one complete job
Start with your model year, intended finish and covered-panel list. Then check the fitting, preparation and exclusions together. Do not add a roof allowance to a full-exterior total if the roof is already included.
Ask for the VAT-inclusive total and the approval process for any newly discovered preparation. A guide range cannot settle those details.
Product
Manufacturer, series, finish code and any print or protective layer.
Covered panels
Roof, bumpers, mirrors, spoiler, accents and inner-return decisions.
Preparation
Cleaning, existing-film removal, adhesive work and separate paint repairs.
Access and refitting
Parts removed or worked around, refitting and relevant exclusions.
Timing
Arrival, preparation, fitting, adhesion checks and collection.
Support
Film and workmanship terms, local duration, exclusions and claim contact.
Plan time away from your SUV
Preparation
Inspection, cleaning, old-film removal and any agreed surface repair come before fitting. Existing adhesive or poor paint can extend the job.
Fitting
Plan for several days for a full exterior color change, subject to the actual preparation and material. A roof or trim job is smaller, but access work can still affect the collection time.
Adhesion and collection
Fitting completion is not the only timing decision. Follow the selected film’s adhesion and first-wash instructions, with final inspection before collection.
Confirm arrival, collection and first-wash timing on the actual quote. Printed graphics, special materials and additional preparation can alter the plan. Do not book a complete SUV wrap on a blanket promise of a few hours.
Before the drive home
Good handover makes the result easier to maintain
Take one walk around your SUV with the installer. Check the finish together, try the refitted parts and leave with the care details for your film.
The detail is in the edgesCurves, recesses and planned joins deserve a closer look before collection.
01
See the finish in good light
Compare the color and sheen across the agreed panels. Point out marks or unexpected defects while you and the installer can see them together.
02
Look closely at corners and joins
Check accessible edges, handles and bumper recesses. Ask about lifting and where the film joins. A complex shape may need a planned join, explained before fitting.
03
Try the parts that were refitted
Check that trim is secure and doors, handles, roof mechanisms and fuel or charge flaps operate normally. Compare the finished coverage with your panel list.
04
Take the care details with you
Keep the invoice, exact film details and cleaning instructions. Record any item to revisit, who to contact and the agreed follow-up.
Care protects the finish you chose
Plan the life of the wrap from day one
Exposure, cleaning and the condition of the underlying paint affect ownership. Product life, warranty duration and the cost of later removal are different questions.
First wash
Follow the installed product’s waiting period and cleaning instructions. Do not transfer a PPF instruction to color vinyl or assume collection means the first wash can happen immediately.
Regular care
Remove contamination promptly using a compatible method. Avoid abrasive cleaners and brush contact that can mark film or catch edges. Ask your regular wash provider to follow the specific film instructions.
Roof and hood exposure
Horizontal panels face different weathering from doors. Ask how orientation and your parking habits affect the chosen film’s care and locally applicable warranty.
Later panel damage
A damaged section may be replaceable without changing the entire vehicle. Inspect the paint and surrounding film first. New film can differ from older material, so a perfect match is not guaranteed.
Removal and resale
Agree professional removal and inspection when you change the finish or sell. Aged film and poorly bonded resprays can complicate removal. No blanket promise of preserved resale value or damage-free paint removal is made.
Warranty records
Keep the written UAE product term and the separate fitting-support period. Check how accidental damage, vandalism, unsuitable cleaning and later removal are treated. Record whether an accepted claim covers replacement film, labor or both, together with the contact for help.
The published color-vinyl guide is AED 15,000 to 25,000 for a full SUV exterior and AED 1,200 to 2,000 for one painted roof, hood or trunk panel. These are category estimates. PPF, accessories, repairs and old-film removal need their own scope. Compare the exact film and covered areas, then request the final VAT-inclusive total.
Is a large 4x4 the same price as a small crossover?
No fixed equivalence is assumed. The published SUV range is a category guide. Painted area, body shape, trim, accessories, material and preparation establish the actual total.
Are the roof rails included in a roof wrap?
Not automatically. The quote should identify painted roof coverage and separately explain any rail removal, refitting or wrapping. A roof box or rack is also a separate item.
Can textured wheel-arch cladding be wrapped?
It needs an assessment of the actual surface and selected product. Do not assume textured plastic will accept the same finish and adhesion as smooth painted bodywork.
Use and ownership
Will a wrap stop minor parking dents?
No. Neither cosmetic vinyl nor PPF is a dent-prevention guarantee. Film does not straighten existing dents or protect against every impact.
Can I wrap only the lower areas used off road?
You can request an assessment of particular exposed painted areas. State whether appearance or protection is the goal so the material is appropriate. Accessories and textured cladding need their own suitability checks.
What should I send for a quote?
Start with your SUV model and the look or protection you want. Photos are welcome if you have them. We can discuss accessories, existing film and paint history as the quote develops.
How long does SUV wrapping take?
A full exterior wrap usually needs several days for preparation, fitting and checks. A single panel is a smaller job. Old film, repaired paint, complex accessories and material availability can extend the schedule. Agree drop-off, collection and the installed film’s first-wash instructions before leaving the vehicle.
Choose your SUV’s next finish
Call or WhatsApp with your SUV model and the result you want. We can help compare a roof accent, full color change and protection options, then arrange the assessment and quote. Photos can follow after the first conversation.
