Start with the effect you want

Choose how much of your car to change

A logo on two doors is a different job from a printed design across every panel. Choose how much of the car you want to change first. That keeps the design brief and budget working toward the same result.

01

Logos and lettering

A clear name or message

Names, numbers and simple shapes cut from solid-color vinyl. A practical choice when you want the original paint visible around a clean design.

Detailed art in a defined area

Multicolor artwork, illustrations or gradients printed onto suitable vinyl. Ask whether the price includes the protective laminate and contour cutting.

Printed color with a cut outline

03

Partial graphics

A coordinated change on selected panels

Side designs, hood graphics or coordinated accents that cover selected areas. The uncovered paint becomes part of the composition.

Car graphics prices in Dubai

AED 1,790Door graphics market starting guide

A published comparison point including VAT. The exact number of graphics, dimensions, design work and fitting need to be specified. This is not a fixed Wrapping.ae package.

For other graphics, dimensions and artwork come before a reliable price. The market examples below are another provider’s published general vehicle prices, including VAT. The AED 5,900 reference covers a half wrap with doors, a bumper and selected body panels. They help compare the scale of work and are not Wrapping.ae offers or fixed prices for your car.

Full printed exterior

AED 7,600Market example including VAT

The source’s semi-curve vinyl package excludes the roof. Check every included panel and whether bumpers, mirrors, returns and removal are covered.

These published market comparisons are another provider’s prices and are not Wrapping.ae offers. Film, dimensions, artwork and vehicle shape can change your total. Request one fitted price including VAT and any applicable approval costs.

Include the creative work

Ask how many initial concepts and revision rounds are included. Logo redrawing, new illustrations, licensed artwork, rush changes and another design after approval can add work. Make those items visible before production.

Include the physical work

List old decal removal, adhesive cleanup, panel preparation, fitting and any trim work. A print-only price cannot be compared directly with a finished installation. Removal at the end of use is a separate service unless listed.

A stripe layout is a separate choice

Our homepage gives a racing-stripe guide of AED 1,800 to 2,500. Stripe width, layout and covered panels still need agreement, and its VAT treatment is confirmed in the written quote. It is not the price for every decal or printed body design.

Match the graphic to the size of the change

These typical job estimates illustrate proposed work using the market comparisons above. They are not customer installations or fixed Wrapping.ae offers. Final dimensions, material selection and design approval determine the written total.

2022 Toyota Corolla door graphics

AED 1,790 market comparison

Consider a simple matching graphic on the two front doors, using suitable cut vinyl or printed and cut pieces. A proposed 600 by 300 mm design on each door is a useful starting brief, with final size checked around the handles and panel shape.

The comparison includes VAT but does not establish a price for those exact dimensions. Request artwork setup, agreed revisions, material and fitting in one quote. Redrawing a low-resolution logo, removing old graphics or obtaining advertising permission may add separate work.

Typical job estimate

2021 Volkswagen Golf half-wrap brief

AED 5,900 market comparison

Compare a coordinated printed side design on selected exterior panels, leaving the roof and part of the original paint visible. The proposed brief names each covered panel, printed film and compatible laminate before the design goes into production.

The market comparison includes VAT and uses another provider’s half-wrap category. It is not a confirmed price for this Golf. Old material, difficult paint, extra panels, specialist film and new artwork after approval change the work. Agree their cost before printing.

See it before it reaches the car

Agree the design on your actual panels

The design should work with your car’s shape. Handles, panel gaps and curved bumpers all affect where the artwork belongs.

Your idea

Start with the look you want

Bring a logo, drawing or style you like and tell us your car model. You do not need a finished print file to start the conversation. Straight-on panel photos help us discuss the layout and establish the final dimensions.

Your artwork

Keep the edges and lettering clear

A vector PDF, AI or EPS file helps preserve clean outlines. A screenshot may need redrawing before it can be printed at vehicle size. Agree that artwork work and its cost before production.

Your panels

Place the important details first

A straight rectangle on a flat preview can become awkward when a handle cuts through the main word. Check the layout around panel gaps and read any phone number or web address at its intended size.

These dimensions illustrate different briefs, not fixed packages. Confirm the width, height, quantity and panel position on the vehicle before printing.

Your artwork approval

Get the details right while they are easy to change

A proof is your chance to check the exact text, positioning and coverage. Review both sides when a design is mirrored or adjusted to suit the car. Do not rely on a generic vehicle outline if your trim or body shape differs.

The agreed design should identify the finish and color expectations. Screens, printed ink and solid-color vinyl can look different under daylight. Ask to compare a physical film sample or printed color sample when the shade is critical.

Before print approval

  1. Correct spelling, numbers and artwork version
  2. Final dimensions and quantity of every graphic
  3. Panel positions and any joins or cut lines
  4. Film type, finish and laminate where applicable
  5. Included revision rounds and cost of later changes
  6. Your permission to use supplied logos or artwork

After approval, a text correction may require another print and installation. One careful check now can avoid paying for the same panel twice.

Keep one approved version for production

A revision round should mean one collected set of changes to the same design, rather than separate messages that can conflict. The quote needs to state the included rounds and the charge for further work. Request a dated final proof showing the left side, right side and any other covered area.

For supplied artwork, discuss who provides usable files, whether fonts need outlining and whether you receive the final print file. If another panel is needed later, that record helps reproduce the layout. It does not guarantee an exact match to a weathered print.

Match the material to the design

Choose a film and laminate that belong together

Simple lettering and a full-color printed graphic use different material systems. Compare the finished result, the panel shape and the exact products in your quote.

Names and clean shapes

Solid color cut vinyl

The color comes from the vinyl itself. Letters and shapes are cut from the material, leaving the original paint visible around the design.

  • Useful for lettering and simple graphic shapes
  • Film needs to suit the surface and intended use
  • Agree the color and finish against your paint
Detailed and multicolor artwork

Printed film and laminate

The artwork is printed onto suitable film. The ink and protective laminate need to belong to a compatible system for the intended application.

  • Useful for illustrations, gradients and larger designs
  • Confirm the print film and matching laminate
  • Check the finished sheen before approval

Match the curves

A small flat door graphic and a deep bumper recess do not demand the same conformability. Film selection should follow the panel shape and intended service life. A square-meter print price alone cannot show that difference.

Plan for a replacement piece

Keep the approved artwork and material details. New material may not match an older sun-exposed graphic perfectly, even when the same file is used. Agree the gloss or matte finish as part of the original design.

From prepared paint to finished edges

Fitting should protect the design and respect the car

The vehicle needs a clean, suitable surface. Tell us about repainted panels, ceramic coating, wax, previous decals and existing damage. Loose paint or failing clear coat can make application or later removal unsuitable.

Before installation

Check the base and the boundaries

  • Inspect paint and photograph existing defects
  • Agree old graphic and adhesive removal separately
  • Confirm how panel gaps, handles and badges affect the layout
  • List glass, lights, number plates, cameras and other exclusions
At collection

Check the finished graphic together

  • Compare spelling and placement with the approved proof
  • Review aligned sections, joins and edges
  • Confirm any agreed uncovered areas
  • Collect product details and written care instructions

Graphics must not obstruct the driver’s view, vehicle lighting, number plates or camera lenses. A body-panel graphic is not permission to cover windows. Discuss any glazing request as a separate suitability and compliance question.

Don’t hide weak paint beneath a new design. The graphic can only adhere to the surface underneath it.

For lettering or printed designs specifically on glass, use our custom window decal service. It covers the separate material, visibility and permitted-placement checks for that surface.

Keep the car available when you need it

Plan production before the workshop visit

Most avoidable delays start before fitting. Settle the design and materials first, then arrange workshop time around the agreed work.

  1. 01Before the visit

    Share the idea

Tell us your car model, the look you want and any event date. Artwork and photos are helpful if available. We can work through dimensions and material choices with you.

  2. 02Before printing

    Approve the final design

Check the proof, panel coverage, materials, revisions and fitted price. Any documents needed for the intended use should be settled before production. A quote request does not reserve a fitting slot.

  3. 03At the workshop

    Fit and review the result

Allow time for agreed removal, surface preparation and installation. Confirm the collection window, then review the graphics and care instructions at handover.

Published installation guide1 to 3 business days

Wrapping.ae’s branding guide gives this general installation direction. It is not a guaranteed turnaround for every custom graphics order. Design approval, production, old-wrap removal and vehicle condition can add time.

Working toward an event

Share the date when you inquire. Confirm artwork approval and collection times before making arrangements around the job. Missing files, an unapproved proof or an unexpected old wrap can change the schedule.

Check the right approval route

Business advertising and a change to the registered vehicle color may involve different approvals. Describe the intended use and confirm the current requirements for the vehicle and emirate. Campaign inquiries belong with our car branding team.

Keep the finish working for you

Care, repair and eventual removal

Keep the graphic looking good today. Know what to do if a panel is damaged or you’re ready for a change.

Everyday care

Keep the color.
Protect the edges.

A few material-specific habits help preserve the finish you chose.

  • Wash gentlyFollow the supplied care sheet and initial wash waiting period. Avoid abrasive products and concentrated pressure at edges.
  • Clean marks promptlyUse an approved cleaning method instead of scrubbing the printed surface.
  • Check before polishingTell your detailer which film is fitted. An unsuitable polish or coating can change a matte finish or affect the laminate.
Your next stepKeep the film name and care instructions with your invoice.
A damaged section

Could one piece be replaced?

A lifting edge or damaged panel does not automatically mean replacing the whole design. Material availability, artwork and neighboring film condition determine the repair.

Send two photosA close view of the damageA wider view of the whole panel

New film may look different beside older, sun-exposed graphics.

Ready for a new look

Plan removal around the paint

Film age, exposure, adhesive and previous repainting affect removal. Weak paint and adhesive cleanup may add work.

Check the surface firstDamage-free removal cannot be guaranteed on every panel. Covered paint may also look different from the surrounding exposed finish.

Car graphics questions

How much do custom car graphics cost in Dubai?

The comparison guide shows AED 1,790 for door graphics, AED 5,900 for a half wrap and AED 7,600 for a full printed exterior excluding the roof, including VAT. These are another provider’s prices, not Wrapping.ae offers. Decals are quoted by artwork, dimensions and quantity. Our written quote sets the design, material, fitting and final total.

What is the difference between a decal and a printed wrap?

A decal is an individual graphic applied to a selected area. It may be cut from solid-color vinyl or printed. A printed wrap covers a larger agreed area using a design printed onto suitable wrap film, normally with a compatible protective laminate.

Can you work from my own logo or drawing?

Send the original file with your idea. The artwork needs checking for usable detail, scale and permission to reproduce it. A low-resolution image may need redrawing, which should be included in the design quote or priced separately.

How many revisions are included?

The number of concepts and revision rounds must be stated in your quote. There is no universal unlimited-revision offer on this page. Confirm the final proof before printing because later changes may mean producing the graphic again.

Does a full graphic wrap include the roof?

Only if the roof is listed. “Full” can mean different things between suppliers. Ask for every included panel, with mirrors, bumpers, roof and door shuts explicitly included or excluded.

Can graphics go over ceramic coating or old decals?

The surface must be assessed. Existing treatments can affect adhesion, while old decals can leave ridges or unstable material underneath. Removal and suitable preparation may be needed before the new graphic is fitted.

Will the graphics protect the car like PPF?

Decorative vinyl changes the appearance and offers only incidental surface coverage. It should not be sold as equivalent to purpose-made paint protection film for stone-chip protection. If protection is your main aim, compare the separate PPF service.

Can you match an existing graphic on one panel?

Send a clear photo and the original artwork if available. Matching depends on the old material, print settings, finish and weathering. A replacement may look newer than the surrounding sections.

Do I need the car branding service instead?

Use car branding for a company campaign, advertising message or coordinated fleet. Choose custom graphics for individual decals, lettering or a decorative design fitted to specified panels. Both inquiries can start with the same vehicle photos and artwork.
