Do not assume that heat alone explains a lifted edge. Material, fitting, contamination, age and contact damage can also affect its condition. Record the location and history before a workshop assigns the cause.

After dusty travel, avoid an improvised dry wipe while waiting for the appointment. Keep the vehicle in a practical shaded place and use the installed film's permitted cleaning approach. Promptly address damaging deposits with the approved method rather than waiting for the next full wash.
For new film, keep the installer’s first-wash restrictions separate from the established summer routine. The fitting date alone does not set a universal settling period across products. Ask how parking and the first cleaning should be managed for the chosen material.

If clean covered parking is available, there is no reason to buy a coating solely because summer has arrived. It cannot substitute for shade or repair deteriorated film, and a generic UV spray has no universal renewal schedule across wraps.
Record upper-panel changes before extended parking
Inspect the clean, dry roof, hood and trunk lid before a long absence. Their exposure can differ from upright doors. Compare photographs in similar light rather than deciding from a wet reflection or a camera's automatic exposure.

Manufacturer documents may classify these as horizontal and vertical applications, with different durability conditions. Check which classification applies to each panel rather than applying the longest headline figure to the whole car.
The linked Avery Dennison sheet is an EU document. Use it to understand the exposure distinction, then request the applicable UAE terms for the installed film and color. It does not establish a guaranteed Dubai replacement date. A sheltered door is not evidence that a sun-exposed roof remains equally sound.
Before renewing the parking arrangement for another season, note which surfaces were shaded, any repeated deposits and any lasting changes. Use that record to choose better parking and discuss whether a changed panel needs assessment before another prolonged outdoor stay.
