Change the color
Color vinyl changes the appearance of suitable painted panels. Compare gloss, satin and matte samples, then specify outer panels, edge returns and any door-jamb work. Cosmetic vinyl is not equivalent to impact-protection PPF.

Protect your Porsche’s original paint or give it a new color and finish. Compare front PPF, full painted-exterior PPF and color vinyl, with fitting planned around your model’s roof, bodywork and moving parts.
Talk through samples and coverage with our Al Quoz team. Vinyl accents are guided at AED 1,200–2,000 and SUV vinyl wraps at AED 15,000–25,000. Sports-car wraps and PPF receive a separate quote for the exact film and panel list.

Three different reasons to fit film
Make the first decision around the result you want. Similar-looking films can have different construction, fitting methods and warranty terms.
Color vinyl changes the appearance of suitable painted panels. Compare gloss, satin and matte samples, then specify outer panels, edge returns and any door-jamb work. Cosmetic vinyl is not equivalent to impact-protection PPF.
Front PPF focuses on agreed exposed areas such as the hood, front fenders, bumper and mirror caps. It suits a targeted budget when you accept that the sides, roof and rear remain outside the package.
Full exterior PPF extends protection to the specified painted panels. It uses more material and fitting time. Confirm roof, rear quarters, doors and exclusions rather than relying on the words full body alone.
Compare the final installed total
Our published category guides help frame the vinyl discussion. They are not fixed prices for a 911, 718, Taycan or a particular PPF product. Coupe, convertible and modified-body projects need their own assessment.
| Work to compare | AED guide | Coverage to agree |
|---|---|---|
| One painted vinyl accent | AED 1,200–2,000Single panel category guide | Specify the hood, a suitable painted roof section or another named panel. Roof glass, fabric and complex multi-piece areas are not automatically included. |
| Racing stripes | AED 1,800–2,500Stripe category guide | Agree width, alignment and covered panels. A complete racing livery, custom printing and licensed artwork require a separate design and fitting quote. |
| Macan or Cayenne vinyl wrap | AED 15,000–25,000Published SUV category guide | Confirm suitable painted exterior panels, exact film, finish, trim handling and edge returns. Body kits and textured lower trim need separate decisions. |
| Sports car or four door wrap | Individual quoteActual body and finish | Specify 911 generation, 718 body, Taycan or Panamera configuration. A generic sedan price is not a fixed offer for a performance body or a complex finish. |
| Full front PPF | Individual quoteFilm and finish specific | Price the full painted hood, both front fenders, front bumper and suitable mirror caps. List rocker panels and lower rear quarters as optional additions. Headlights and glass need separate compatibility checks. |
| Full painted exterior PPF | Individual quoteComplete agreed panel list | Include suitable doors, rear body panels and painted roof sections as well as the agreed front coverage. Specify spoiler surfaces, aero parts and edge returns. Glass, fabric roofs, inner openings and textured trim are not automatic inclusions. |
These are planning guides. Confirm VAT treatment, old-film removal, paint preparation and the final VAT-inclusive price in writing.
Make the coverage visible before fitting
Mark the proposed areas on photos of your own Porsche. A partial hood and a complete hood are different jobs, even when both quotations say front protection.

Confirm how much of the hood and fenders is covered, along with the bumper and mirror caps where specified. A film stopping line may remain visible across a panel.
Request an explicit list covering the full painted hood, both front fenders, front bumper and suitable mirror caps. Confirm cuts around emblems, washers, sensors and openings. Lamps and glass are separate compatibility questions.
Discuss painted rocker panels, lower rear quarters and loading edges if those areas concern you. Existing stone guards should be identified before deciding whether they stay, come off or are replaced.
List doors, rear panels, roof and remaining painted body sections individually. Clarify joins, hidden borders and exclusions. Full exterior does not mean every material or every inner surface is covered.
Purpose-designed paint protection film can help reduce some chip and surface-scratch damage. It does not guarantee protection against a hard strike, a dent, a scrape through the film or track debris.
The same color can have a different finish
Finish decisions should happen beside the car. Screen colors and a familiar Porsche paint name do not establish an exact match for a vinyl film.

Compare the clarity and texture of clear gloss PPF over the existing paint. Ask about visible film edges and the appearance next to uncovered panels. A clear product should still be sample-approved.
Matte or satin PPF can change gloss paint to a lower-sheen appearance while keeping the underlying color visible. Color vinyl can change both color and finish. These are different products with different care requirements.
Identify whether the current surface is paint, vinyl or PPF before preparation. Do not apply a generic polishing or gloss-restoration process to a matte finish. Agree compatible cleaning, film adhesion and the expected sheen in writing.
Protect sound paint rather than hide a problem
A used Porsche can have repaired panels, original stone guards and coatings that are not obvious in a quick photograph. The preparation plan should reflect what is actually on the car.
Inspect chips, transport marks and contamination before film. Only correct suitable defects when needed. Clear PPF follows the surface and will not replace missing paint or repair a dent.
Record the repair history and confirm the refinishing system’s cure requirements. Adhesion and later removal risks differ from sound factory paint. Damage-free removal cannot be guaranteed on every resprayed surface.
Assess removal and adhesive cleanup before covering the panel again. Existing stripes can leave a color or gloss difference. Coatings and film layers require compatibility checks rather than an automatic overwrap.
If the paint needs correction, discuss the appropriate paint preparation and correction work separately. Matte surfaces need a finish-specific approach.
Your actual specification matters
Send the year and actual specification with your inquiry. A model badge alone does not identify the bumper, roof or moving components fitted to your car.
Separate fixed painted panels from glass, fabric, seals and roof mechanisms. Confirm the generation and roof type. Plan the visible finish with the roof both closed and in its normal operating positions.
Identify the fixed-roof or soft-top body and any GT bodywork. Intakes, rear wings, front splitters and added aero parts can change access and the panel list. Fabric tops are outside a normal body-film package.
Discuss charging or fuel flap edges, door handles, rear spoiler operation and the fitted roof. On a Taycan, charging flaps must remain usable. Film must not bridge moving gaps or block openings.
Record the body style and trim specification. Roof rails, panoramic glass, textured lower cladding and separate bumper inserts need clear inclusion decisions. More surface area does not make every surface suitable for the same film.
Look beyond a distant finished car
Before booking, ask for close views of completed work on a similar body style, with the film and covered panels identified. At collection, compare your Porsche with the edges, joins and finish agreed in your quotation.
A wide view cannot establish the product, edge treatment or paint condition. For your own job, agree the expected borders and inspection points before fitting so the handover has a clear basis.
Know what happens before collection
Use a few days as an initial planning allowance for a full color change, then confirm the actual schedule after inspection. PPF timing is separately agreed for its product and coverage. Repairs, old-film removal and difficult access can add time.
Approve the sample and panel list, record paint condition and confirm stock. Check any registered color-change requirements and insurer, lease or finance conditions for your proposed finish.
Agree any trim handling and additional preparation before it is done. The fitting method depends on the material. Color vinyl and wet-applied PPF use different fitting methods, so their schedules and aftercare can differ.
Inspect visible edges and joins, and check the operation of affected doors, flaps, roof components and aero parts. Get the care instructions for the supplied film, including first-wash timing and any follow-up check.
Know what each promise covers
Film defects and fitting defects need different terms. Confirm who handles each issue, how long support lasts and what remedy applies before installation.
Check the manufacturer’s terms for the exact film supplied. Eligibility depends on the product, installation and supporting records.
An advertised maximum term is not automatically the warranty for your car.
Our color-change service includes support for material defects and workmanship errors. Confirm the supplied vinyl’s support period and remedy. PPF needs its own written terms.
Accident damage, vandalism and improper care are separate from the stated support.
XPEL publishes a 10-year limited product warranty for ULTIMATE PLUS and STEALTH covering specified manufacturing defects, including yellowing, cracking, blistering and delamination. Qualifying installation and documentation are required. Impact damage and damaged paint are outside that promise.

Keep the product identity with your invoice. It helps when arranging aftercare, a warranty inspection or a replacement panel.
We offer 3M vinyl wrapping. Select the series, color code and finish from a physical sample before ordering. The written quote identifies the film supplied and the applicable material and installation support.
Explore our vinyl wrapping options for a full color change or a smaller accent.
Compare XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS for a clear gloss finish with STEALTH for a satin appearance. Our XPEL PPF service explains these options. Current supply and suitability are confirmed for your installation.
The quote should identify the exact series, finish, covered panels and applicable UAE terms. A manufacturer’s catalog does not establish the warranty eligibility of a particular installation.
Make the last decisions before booking
Discuss these details alongside the written coverage list.
Vinyl guides are AED 1,200–2,000 for one painted accent panel, AED 1,800–2,500 for racing stripes and AED 15,000–25,000 for the SUV category. A 911, 718, Taycan or Panamera wrap needs its own assessment. PPF is quoted by product and coverage. Confirm preparation, removal charges and VAT treatment in the final quote.
No. Matte PPF is a protective film with a lower-sheen finish, while matte vinyl is primarily a color or appearance product. Compare the exact material rather than choosing by the word matte.
Not automatically. Lamps are separate from painted panels and require exact lens, product and manufacturer compatibility checks. Their inclusion must be expressly agreed.
An exact factory match is not promised. Compare an available named film beside the car in daylight and approve the appearance before ordering.
A full vinyl color change needs a few days as an initial planning allowance. PPF timing depends on the selected film, coverage and preparation. Repairs, old-film removal and access around trim or aero parts can extend the work. Collection time and first-wash timing are agreed separately.
Separate painted sections from glass, fabric, seals and moving parts. A standard exterior body package does not include every roof material. Confirm the configuration and suitable areas first.
It will not repair them. Some defects remain visible through film, and unstable paint may be unsuitable. Agree preparation or repair before fitting.
No. It is a separate compatibility and pricing decision. Confirm approval, appearance and warranty for both products before choosing a layered installation.
Send the model, year, paint condition and the panels you want to change or protect. We will discuss samples, preparation and coverage with you in Al Quoz before agreeing a written quotation.
